    Guardians Event

I have got to say, the idea of this is good, though its just making us do the same content again and again without adding in new content, kinda lazy if you ask me.

But the problem is, each and every bloody time, the guardian i need to kill first is always at the back of 4 robot dogs with perfect aim snipers and enemies immune to all damage with perfect aim no matter the range or weapon used and Artillery, which kills me in a single hit and ignores the enemy...yeah, thats realistic.......yeah i died over 10 times before i ragequitted.

Can you please STOP PUTTING THEM AT THE VERY BACK AND MAKE THEM NOT CAMP!!!!

I like challenge, but that is just so stupid and dumb.

I don't have a problem with them being behind the enemy, but when i have to run through 8 enemies all immune to damage to get to a sniper who just camps in a spot that can't be hit by me without being right in their face.....its annoying.

Lets just hope your next Tom Clancy game is more.......inventive.

Warhounds aren't protected by guardians, you should be able to kill them regardless of who else is around.
But yeah, it would be good if they could tweak the squad spawns to ensure that 'guardian' status never gets put on hidey-type enemy archetypes like controllers (and also impose a strict range limit on the protection, 20m or so).
There are other approaches which can help too: use a sniper to one-shot the guardian before they're aware of you, use area effect skills to hit them in cover, etc.

I was discussing on another topic how this global event would be excellent if his mechanics improved, two members gave the following ideas:

    1) non-guardians lose protection when they get too far from their guardian, I thought it was excellent, especially to kill those damn runners who run with a shotgun and hit all shots at us, running with a shotgun in their hands with absurd precision and damage , (simpler, just separate or wait for the NPCs to stay away from the guardian to kill them, in case the guardian is staying too far or too long on cover).

    2) If our agent is between the guardian and the non-guardians, the non-guardians would lose their invulnerability, as if our agent had some device that would cancel the guardian's technology ... (more complex, because we would have to be among the NPCs).

Two good ideas, which would make the event better, because although melee attacks temporarily remove the protection of non-guardians (and we managed to kill them even without killing the guardian first), it is obvious that this is not feasible in a closed area (missions ), full of enemies.

The event is great, but the execution is not, the mechanics could be better ... it is frustrating to be chased by invulnerable runners while and hit on all sides by other invulnerable NPCs while the guardian is far away, hidden in cover for several seconds.

The damage should be reduced, not immune. simple as that. Immune enemies, no matter the context are just not fun.

Also, the guardian mechanic should apply to the player as well. It would work like this: while within "x" amount of meters of an ally or skill, damage to the player is reduced by "x" amount.

This would make the event feel a lot more fair while still providing a fun and interesting challenge.

I have tried the mission again and just get vaporized because the sole guardian is always a stay in cover type...like a sniper.

I am going to give up with this stupid event, it is like ubisoft doesn't even test this system to see if it isn't poorly implemented......surely, they have the brain cells to do that right?

Well, it has promise, if they stop the guardian status from being put onto cover only enemies and put it on a runner or something and buff up their armour and health to make it an effort to kill...but when the guardian is hiding behind cover, surrounded by 2 sniper dogs, 4 runners with shields (all of which are immune.), so i have to rush the gauntlet to try to get to the guardian, but sadly...no, the dogs snipe me at the same time and i am being chased by 4 runners that are invulnerable......yeah, it is not right. lol

If you're going to run missions with it on, try matchmaking: I've found that 3- or 4-player games are WAY easier because more enemies = more guardians, and you only need one of them to be an easy kill to get you started, then you can just mow through the rest of the with the guardian buff. I actually ended up re-running the league speedruns with a very low-SHD group and guardians active, and it was noticeably quicker than running them without guardians.
For solo play, stick to open-world where it's generally small squads you can sneak up on before opening fire on the guardian.

The issue here is i like to explore the area for every crate, resource and so on and that can tick players off because they want to complete the mission as fast as possible.....so i stick to solo.

Also, it happens in the open world, the Guardian(s) stay at the back in cover at all times, if they are heavy armour types, then they move to a perfect location, where they can get me, but i can't even hit their feet....i move, i die, i stay, i die......rinse and repeat.

This event has really killed my desire to play and if i have to group up for a solo mission, then this event is poorly implemented.

That is it, i give up with this crap event....every single bloody guardian is either a cover-only enemy type (sniper) or a enemy type with a shield.......which means you got to somehow have perfect aim, while avoiding 4 runner melee (hyena types).

Sorry, but this event needs fixing.

1: Only close to medium range enemy types should be guardians

2: Guardians shouldn't stay at the back, they are guardians, shouldn't they be guarding their group?

3: Make the rewards worth the time to do, cause right now, they are not.

I have tried the higher difficulties (without the guardian crap turned on) and the rewards are roughly the same, just to succeed takes longer and feels more tedious and a waste of time.

    Normal: 0% xp/loot bonus

    Hard: 12.5%

    Challenging: 25%

    Heroic: 50%

That would make it worthwhile even remotely trying.....but the loot chances need tweaking, crafting needs tweaking, i would prefer to spend more resources to craft the items i want, with the stats i want, it can work in connection with the Recalibration system, as in, you can only pick what you have collected.

Mmm sounds like your one of those, just like everyone else in this post, those skill build players who never move for 20 mins. The event is very fun you just need to adjust stop being so in-title little punk.

A little armor and armor regen movement and situation awareness and this event is effing inanely fun speed run everything.

I play True Patriot and no matter the Guardian able to get to them and get the insane buff.

And the game is all about repaying same stuff over again like any other shooter.
