I don't think I'm the only one who thought of this but I think the only change that the game needs is to have every character be able to soft feint and hard feint every move they have. Playing defensively and waiting to parry your opponents' attacks is still far better than trying to play offensively, and there are very few characters who can effectively counter a purely defensive style, i.e. Warden being one of the few characters who can do this, because they have no unblockables that can't be parried, like the Warden's shoulder bash or Shugoki's headbutt/sumo tackle, or if they do they can't feint them to catch the dodge with a guardbreak or bait an attack which they could parry whether it's a dodge attack or not. In order to beat a purely defensive style every character needs an unblockable in the game, and the ability to soft feint this move into any move, light or heavy attack and even into the unblockable again, and can hard feint in case the opponent has armored moves like Shugoki which can't be interrupted so you can parry that move. I haven't been on the forum awhile so I apologize if this suggestion is a repeat.

In addition, I think it would really cool if every character can use attacks in any combination until they run out of stamina. I also think it would be really cool if you could only parry light attacks and heavy attacks when the opponent is out of stamina, but when they're not you can only parry light attacks and deflect heavy attacks, meaning that every character in the game and not just the assassin group of characters gets a deflect counterattack and these can be followed up with any attack, and not just whatever current option is in the case of the characters who do have a deflect option. What I keep thinking about is how after parry options, like Lawbringer for example, could use any of these options after a deflect and not just a parry, meaning he could deflect, for example, a heavy attack with a light riposte, which counts as the start of a chain or any of his other options like the riposte where he sticks his opponent with the pointy end of his halberd and charges forward.
