Driver and UBI accounts confilict. Transfering game to new UBI account.
First thing I have submitted two support tickets now for this issue. I have provided screenshots too. I now know what my issue with Drive SF is. I had the key bound to an old account somehow. I bought the title through Steam and must have had this old account still connected when I did so. Steam says I did play it in the past so I knew it had worked.
I unlinked my active UBI account and connected my old account. The game loads up with no problem. I then try another title that has been working while connected to the active account. Farcry5 does not load but I am given a prompt that I can permanently move my key for FC5 to this account. I do not do this as I don't want it connected to my old account. I switch my connected accounts of Steam back to my active UBI account. I then try again hoping to see the same prompt I got with FC5. Nope, this does not happen.
After two attempts to communicate with UBI support, I suppose I will just need to get a refund, which I don't want, and stick to my PS3 version. That or keep changing my bound account so I can switch between this one title and all my other UBI titles.
Please contact me if there is a way to do so. If I delete this old UBI account will that free up my KEY to being used again? or can we simply move it to my active account?
