So if I have, say two, but only play one, do you get two-for-one points?

And it would appear I am not the only one who found it "murky," based on the fact that the very next post was an attempt to clarify your meaning...

    Murky?

I resumed for dumbs, the guys after me resumed for dumbers.

It was a good enough advice for you to at least ask "what?" And get a more in depth explanation ,But did you?

Now dont come tell me something you clearly didnt understand but pretended to was murky.

Actually I did understand it, quite well. But at no point did you mention that you get one SHD for each and every extra character. You simply said "make another one. get it to 30." etc.

No confusion there, but I was unaware additional ones beyond that boost SHD points even more. Or that leveling up one gets SHD points for the other ones that you don't play.

My reasoning: I play very little. 15 minutes at a time at most, so playing multiple characters is more time than I have. Having several static while playing one less so.

Of course I understand this still seems to require leveling the "static" ones to 30 first, so unsure I can or will go that route...

P.S. I assume by "resumed" you meant "assumed"?

You can use the boost option to take any new characters straight to 30, then you just have to get through the WONY main campaign and up to level 40, it doesn't take too long (although 'a few hours' might be too long for you, I guess).
Second characters have a number of benefits though: as well as doubling up your available 'scavenging' watch points, they can serve as pack mules if your stash is full, you can get raid keys and boss loot once per week per character, you can run all the daily/weekly projects, the seasonal manhunt, and the weekly invasion once per character too. Seasonal rewards (from the seasonal levelling track or from leagues and events) are account-wide though, so you can't claim those rewards more than once. You can share blueprints and resources, but if you choose not to share resources you can build up more, as each character has the same cap whether they're shared or not.
Given how little you said you play, I can't imagine you'd have much reason to go for these benefits, but others might find this info useful.

(PS: I think he meant 'presumed', but I'm not going to criticise anyone's English when I can't speak more than a few words of any other language.)

I meant resumed ,as an abreviation of the task.

You can simply Boost the toons to 30 and go straight to NY to do the wony campaign , takes between 4 to 6 hours to do , in the end the statics, as you call them , have the same shd level as your main.

You can now spend those shd level points in mats that Will be available to every toon.
