Getting to the Top of King's Peak
I've been playing this mission off and on for the past few weeks and I CANNOT get to the top of the peak to fight the boss, I've tried every which direction there is and I just can't do it. I've done the puzzles along the way and killed the enemies but in the end I just give up and move on to another game for awhile. I've watched YT vids and read walkthroughs, but the counter-clockwise path leads to nothing when you're past the 3/4 mark going up the mountain. What am I doing wrong?

it's hard to provide with support not knowing where exactly you are stuck on.
is it because you don't know which way to go or ?
Can you provide a screenshot or maybe a video of where you are stuck ?
you need to do a few myth challenges a long the way in order to be able to progress. you sure you have done them all ?

I've gone round and round, following the path, done the myths and killed everything. I get to a point where I'm at the same height as the stamina nuking fog and then use the lifts to get higher, then the paths disappear. Because I'm in the fog now I'm unable to climb...I just get stuck and give up. I'll try again. I'm on a rotataion of AC Vallahalla, Bravely Default 2 and Remnant. I might need to settle on one for awhile. When I get to that point again, that I've been to 4 times, I'll do a screen shot. Thanks.

I finally made it to the top and had the fight. I made it to the vault and got all 4 areas cleared and headed out when.....the game crashed to the dashboard....sigh!!! I didn't log back on to check to see if it saved as it was almost 2 AM.

I managed to defeat him too, then started up the A New God DLC. But I still have several unfinished trophies in the regular game, does anyone know how to get back to it and just go around getting things? And also, what about the weekly challenges if we're in the DLC?

Does this answer your question? From the IGN walkthrough
Once Ligyron has been defeated, the quest ends, and a portal opens. Going through this is the point of no return, and after it, there is no post game. There is New Game Plus, or the option to reload your autosave from immediately before completing this quest.
