I only need one piece of Strikers Classified, the knee pads to complete the set, I have opened six of the caches so far in the GE and I have got 3 x holsters, 2 x chest pieces and 1 x backpack.
Oh well back to the grind.
UPDATE: The heading "RNG Sucks!" was a tongue in cheek comment, I should have put something to that effect.
Opened another two caches looking for those illusive knee pads, a holster and another back pack, makes 4 x holsters, 2 x chest pieces and 2 x back packs so far.
I have been getting some exotic drops from killing all those named bosses though.
UPDATE:
Just did another round of bosses and missions, got another cache and opened it with fingers crossed and voila got the Strikers Classified Kneepads, I really never doubted I would get them.Got the whole set now.
I believe it is 5% now. Early on, it was 2.5% or 3% but enough people disliked the drop rate they increased them across the board. LZ bosses, caches, etc all got a bump. I didn't mind, but it might have speed up the people leaving the game that are a gear set and score goal type player.Originally Posted by Aced_100 Go to original post
That piece hasn't been worth using since ~v.1.3 or maybe it was v.1.4. Classifieds gear sets essentially finished it off. Exotics in games should be rare, hard to get, and powerful. Most in The Division are none of those with few exceptions. This has been talked about a lot over the last 5 years, but I recently did a quick recap: https://forums.ubisoft.com/showthrea...1#post15436835
RNG is RNG. Most of us have a love/hate relationship. I try to never complain about things like this unless I can make a suggestion that is maybe better. I can't think of a better way for dropped gear than RNG, so here we are.![]()
Can not agree more with this statement. The name alone should dictate this. The exotics (Legendaries) in Outriders REALLY did a great job of this, and allowing for variety and build diversity still. Something I wish the Div franchise could pull off.Originally Posted by Bambihunter1971 Go to original post
There are some very minor QOL updates that they could make to Div 1, and targeted loot would be HIGH on that list. I actually think it would bring back even more people. There was a VERY healthy playerbase duing the GE last week, and if targeted loot was a thing, I think it would help.Originally Posted by Bambihunter1971 Go to original post
Got another Barret's Chest Piece this morning after killing Strings on the railroad tracks, must be a sale on them. I don't use them either and now have four. I have gotten nearly all my exotics from killing bosses.Originally Posted by Bambihunter1971 Go to original post
This afternoon I killed the named bosses again and when I killed Riot I got The House.
LOL (bold part). In my best Beavis voice "Everything must go, kill a boss, get an exotic".Originally Posted by Aced_100 Go to original post
If you have gotten the commendation(s) for them, I'd deconstruct them for Div Tech. Exotics ALWAYS deconstruct and give you one Div Tech, plus whatever material they normally do.
The SHIELD one for collecting all the exotic weapons, can be confusing as to what you might be missing so I'd recommend holding on to those until you have gotten that SHIELD commendation. It's worth 2k Phoenix bucks and 500 Div Tech. Even if you don't care about the SHIELD commendations for the TD2 perks, it gives nice perks for TD1 as well. All give the aforementioned $2k Phoenix and 500 Div Tech so they are worth the time to consider. I've got them all on 2 of my accounts, and all but 2 on my 3rd account (can't bring myself to play Resistance anymore). My newest account doesn't have any.
Seems that way, got the Bullfrog this morning, seem to be getting one a day. Make that two a day as I got The Showstopper this aftenoon.Originally Posted by Bambihunter1971 Go to original post
