Though the "base" is good, but needs A LOT of work if they want to compete with TD tbh.
I bought it. Indeed, there is a lot of potential, but that's it. I finished the campaign, I had no issues, but the rest is not enough to carry on.

PS5s not available outside of scalpers until 2022. So it doesn't really matter what games are coming out for that platform.

Really depends where you look, over at AV forums they are getting results, lots of members on there also buying the PS5's & XSX's and selling them at cost just to beat the scalpers.

    Xbox: https://www.avforums.com/threads/hea...lease.2323068/
    PS5: https://www.avforums.com/threads/hea...lease.2326033/

Plus lots of ways to get notified when stock comes in with apps like Hotstock

Just gotta be quick and there is plenty of ways to be quick.

While I'll give ot a try at a personal level, I was speaking more to the wider scale of the larger consumer base, who will still be suffering the overall shortage for some time after several of these games have launched.

Agreed but that's always been the case when new consoles get released, theres those who wan't one desperately will get one and then theres those who will just wait.

    I bagged 5 x XSX's a week after release by:

    • Registering on as many websites as possible who will be selling the XSX (around 15) and saved login/payment/address details.
    • Kept all them 15 websites open and logged in.
    • 2 x Stock informer apps running.

As soon as i got a ping from either of them apps i just simply went to the website that pinged and added to basket and checked out, checkout was done very quick due to doing the above.

Got all 5 XSX's in about 4hrs, one for me, the other 4 for my sons.

I suppose it all depends on how desperate you want one.

    Just for info i got:

    1 x from Amazon
    1 x from Curry's
    1 x from Game
2 x from Microsoft (created two accounts as they only sell one per account like the rest do)

    Good for you, man.

On my side I am bugged by how weak Ubi showed at this make-shift virtual E3.
Only FC6 seems to have some legs (good old FC...). Announcing a DLC six months before the game launch it was so Ubi tho
R6 Extraction was such a letdown, like they are in some weird competition to make the most meh shooter. My prediction: it will bomb really hard, a-la HyperScape.
Pandora!!! Yey! Very effing beautiful pics... Honestly, I completely forgot about Avatar (game and movie, more than a decade later), therefore the reaction was "Ah,... this thing... hmm, okay".
... and not a single word about The Division...

Well thing don't look good for the future of gaming as they are all going Free play ( in Latin it means not really) with micro buys in the game to make profits. They will make it hard to get anything good or it will take ages to get and they will flash a micro buy in front of you. The future of gaming is to rake as much money off players as they can by using known techniques with in game purchases..
