Yeah, I've no interest in Valhalla. Origins was enjoyable too, but the voice acting in Odyssey made it for me. Plus the missions set on CreteOriginally Posted by Bursucul Go to original post
I'd also suggest Ghost Recon Wildlands despite not being a looter shooter. The world feels more alive and fun to explore than Breakpoints.
That's a very good point. As a GR fan, Wildlands was much better than Breakpoint from that perspective... but does someone who loves looter shooters even consider that game?Originally Posted by dagrommit Go to original post
Let's put it this way - I got up to Tier 22Originally Posted by Virtual-Chris Go to original post
Bear in mind that Wildlands does have a loot system of sorts in that you find new/better weapons and attachments in the world.

When i opened up the skill tree i thought it was bugged and had to double check
Loving the game so far![]()
I don't play the game, but at face validity,, whenever I see its skill tree, I can't help but think a lot of that is just filler. Incremental increases for the sake of seeming like an expansive skill tree. But what do I know, I haven't played it.Originally Posted by Riflemania Go to original post
Anyways, I recommend getting lost in D:OS2 or the upcoming D&D ARPG.![]()
D:OS2 is turn based and them type of games are not so great with gamepad, but deffo got D&D pre-ordered even if it's rubbish should still be fun to join up with my sons.Originally Posted by Merphee Go to original post
You never use the whole skill tree. Simply progress through it from a starting point to reach various gameplay changing abilities and modifiers. It's actually a very good system once you fully understand it.Originally Posted by Merphee Go to original post
But it absolutely looks daunting on the surface. Easy to learn, difficult to master. I leave it to the extreme crackheads and math-wizards to figure out the most optimal paths. Normal mortals like me don't have the time to do it.
Edit: What is D:OS2?
