Thanks for getting back to me.

Are you running an anti-virus on your pc?

It may be beneficial to disable this to see if if it helps.

Let me know if you continue to experience issues.

Been an issue since day 1, and it's not going away

Seriously???? Ubisoft support can't even be bothered to look at the history on their own support forum?

This problem has been repeatedly reported since the PC version was released. In fact, the thread just below this one is about it.

The message is self-explanatory: Starlink can't run under a VM. In particular, you can't run Starlink through an online service like GeForce NOW. If you're running it on your own PC, you'll need to disable virtualization -- which most people refuse to do. The definitive responses from Ubisoft are here:

If you paid for the game and refuse to disable virtualization, you should submit a ticket to try to get a refund.

Apologies for the confusion, everyone - I can see that this has been reported previously.

Development on Starlink has stopped, but I'll nonetheless update our teams to let them know this is an issue for players using virtual machines, as this is valuable feedback for us.

I hope you'll be able to find another way to play the game, such as on another machine. Let us know how you get on with the game if you do play it
