Since April, I've been having consistent issues with running this game for longer than 10-15 minutes at a time. I've attempted everything under the sun to fix the problem. Checking video settings, graphics settings, Nvidia settings, and even switched storage devices. The game refuses to run for longer than 10 minutes at a time. It crashes on explosions, me running and me aiming down the sights while shooting. I can not play this game currently. Not quite sure what more I can do to try and fix it. Any help/info you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
Same here as well, I created a support ticket with them and received a standard reply with "follow the troubleshooting guide".
Also note that this issue was there since launch, it was reduced after updates but now it started appearing after the March Update.
Moving to Directx11 will fix the crash, but Directx11 runs really bad with constant frame drops (which they did not fix) and instead of crashing you will get a black-screen in DX11 mode so that is not stable as well.
Make sure you create a case here and let them know whats up https://support.ubisoft.com/en-GB/Cases/New
The fact that this issue exists for 2 years without a solid fix in one of the major AAA launch title from Ubisoft explains a lot.

I had this problem also. Found an old Reddit thread that had a workaround for this. I have tried everything else and nothing worked, so why not. The Reddit poster blamed EAC for the problem. His fix is to set the priority of EAC to low, and setting affinity to one thread. In my case I set priority to below normal after having it at low, because it seemed to cause little glitches, below normal works fine. You have to use Task Manager to do this, first find EasyAntiCheat Service in Processes, right mouse click on it and select GO TO DETAILS, right mouse click on EasyAntiCheat.exe and select SET PRIORITY, change it to BELOW NORMAL or LOW, I used BELOW NORMAL. Then right mouse on EasyAntiCheat.exe again and select SET AFFINITY, uncheck ALL PROCESSORS and only select one of them, I choose the last one in the list. I've run for the last 6 days without any problems since doing this. There are programs out there where you can keep the changes permanent, but I do it manually, no big deal. Hope this helps, it fixed my crashes.
With respect, BSG75_Actual is not the topic starter, and what worked for them doesn't seem to work for others (confirmed in at least one post I've read here). Additionally, it has made no change on my rig for the only type of crash I see while playing, which is the switch to windowed mode with a game freeze that then has to be terminated via Task Manager.Originally Posted by Ubi-Mark. EAC's task priority might be helping to cause crashes of a particular type, but it isn't the root cause of all crashing being experienced. Not even close.
In two separate tickets, yes. Neither directly addressed the windowed-mode crashing as that wasn't the bug I was reporting for either. But there were no issues found with my MSINFO or other hardware/software/drivers on my machine, which makes the idea of opening another ticket with MSINFO on it redundant at best.Originally Posted by Ubi-Mark. The windowed-mode-crashes I experience from time to time are unrelated to the health of the machine. They are either part of The Division 2's code, or part of EAC's code for TD2, or part of the video driver code that deals with TD2. They are not exclusively due to a problem on the user's end.
Personally if I were you I'd escalate all types of crashing to the highest priority and get EAC involved, as well as Nvidia and AMD. The stability in the last few months is giving the game a seriously bad reputation.
Hello Jaga.Telesin,
Thank you for your update!
I located your case and I can see that this issue has been already raised with the development team and they're currently investigating this - I also extracted your DXDiag from your case to the existing report and provided a link to this thread to the development team. Once we have an update on this, we are going to let everyone know through the patch notes.
Apologies for any inconvenience caused by this and if you have any other questions, please let us know.
