    More Cruder Weapons

Hello everyone, I have a very short idea here today that I feel could be a good thing for the game overall. It is a to-the-point idea and is easy to execute, so lets get right into it.

For Honor is known for its good customization that always gets added upon in a new season, one way or another. These customization choices are usually really good. However, most of the current content is really shiny and ornate. As the developers said, it's to show that society is progressing in this game. However, that's not really the thing I am talking about today. From a new deliverance of shiny, ornate, and usually unique weapons added every season, it counter-actively made them less unique. I feel like there's a market out there for cruder art designs. This is an easy one.

Even for just one season, give basic and cruder weapons.

Ones that are grayer, more battered, or more simplistic in design. Here is a good example image below for what a Warmonger could have:

This image is way too big, but notice the weapon, not the armor here. Say this was something that Warmonger could have. A cruder flamburge sword to wield.

Same goes for every hero. All knights, vikings, samurai, and Wu-Lins .

In order to not make these models redundant, they could expand on the idea of what the hero's weapon looks like. For example, maybe the material is of a grayer steel color. Perhaps a boxier, more-basic, looking longsword for a Warden. Or an entirely different shape of the shield for Black Prior. It could go to make a thinner Kanabo, or a blood-stained katana. Either way, it expands on what the hero themselves wields, while also giving a new template. It expands the horizons, in other words.

It could be only for one season in the event pass too, where the weapons are expanded upon and are made into new models with cruder looks to them. The season could be called 'debacle' or something, with a gray material called something like 'ashen.' Overall, for a season where gritty war is explored, it is ripe for exploration and for making money.

Thank you, I hopped you enjoyed reading.

Interesting concept, however, I feel like a lot of players may not go for it. They probably prefer the non-basic stuff, but I don’t speak for everyone, so I could be wrong. With the exception of a few heroes, I personally prefer to use heroic, epic, or legendary gear. But it ultimately depends on the look that I’m going for on each hero.

Side note: that armor would make an awesome set for the Black Prior.
