Doing the Grand Washington Hotel a lot, did it today a few times as it has masks as targeted loot, hoping to get a Vile Mask as I don't have one. Got an exotic drop from Saint on my third try.
Guess what I keep getting there, I have deconstructed a bunch of them but for some reason the exotic drops at the GWH are all Merciless lately or as I call it The Useless!

I will gladly trade you five Merciless for one Vile Mask.Originally Posted by Rodnaz Go to original post![]()
So unlike everything else in the game!Originally Posted by Rodnaz Go to original post
Well, I'm no gunsmith, but from what I know about how automatic weapons work, building one that chambers a round immediately after the trigger pull and fires it on trigger release (chambering yet another round for the next pull) seems extremely plausible. After all, we already have weapons that do the same without releasing the trigger, right?Originally Posted by Rodnaz Go to original post
It's certainly a lot more plausible than a talent like Measured, or even Breadbasket.
(That said, I've tried the Merciless and, while I'm a big rifle fan, I found it...challenging to use.)
Their all out there no doubt but my mind refuses to accept the concept. A post a while back mentioned with enough handling the Merciless is accurate. So there you go -CategoryTheory

With the RNG thing, even though they have a percentage for the exotic drop 7% on Heroic from memory, I don't think that it's equal chance of what actually drops, it's probably a complicate formula but with the Merciless dropping so often I would say it has a much higher drop rate percentage than say a vile mask for example. It's like when I was chasing the Memento, I would get four Acosta's Go Bags for each Memento exotic drop where backpacks were the targeted loot.
