Not even a component for a solo player to consider.
I am not vaguely interested in PVP of any kind, up to and including Battle Royale.
For example - Fallout. 3 is one of my favourite games in 40 years. Sort of played 4 but it is lacklustre. Then they took it in the direction of 76 where you are being pressured to socialise and PvP.
Not interested, don't take a single player experience we love and shoehorn in Facebook components because anyone who doesn't want to be social 24/7/365 is a freak.
Why do I want to group up with randoms or interact with strangers?
That works in an online FPS per round where you are an independent part of one side, but outside of that and when you have to cooperate to win only clans/friends can hope to compete.
Last PvP I played was Apex Legends season 1 - it is now in season 9(?). It was generally a disaster as your 'team' played solo or was simply a PUG disaster.
They have been getting constructive critism for years, they just choose to ignore it and make it worse and worse.Originally Posted by Metal_Greg Go to original post
Genuinely wouldnt surprise me if Heartlands gets some of these 'devs' sacked.
Heartlands is going to make $$$ and these devs have treated their players like s*** with division 2.
All we got was "pvp news soon"
TD1 is done, and TD2 probably won't change in any material way even with the new promised content (all I hope for is a better level and visual design than the summit)
Only PVP hope for the near future is Heartland. While labeled F2P, it's rather "free to access the very basics". Expect to pay $$$ for passes and items.
