Depends on the build. Certainly I'd love the option, but it wouldnt be used in every one of my builds.
My firewall EP build uses the flamethrower all the time. And my mortar build breaks out the nade launcher regularly to rapid fire explode heavies, or whenever there's an excess of ammo.
But any gunner or sharpshooter build you're damn sure that specialization weapon isn't getting used. So a free revive would be nice.
Really tho, this is just a testament to how specialization weapons needed better implementation.
Specialization weapons need to be on par with your difficulty to be effective. They are nice and get use, for me, when helping other low level Agents. But yes, Gunner, Sharpshooter, Survivalist, and Tech I believe rarely get pulled out. I wouldnt agree with a revive free-be tho. i would , specialization weapons are completly dispensable.
but what i really would love, would be the weapon to not have that cluncky swap animation , that is the main reason i dont use it more often , and im not talking about the visual effect , that i turned off eons ago , its really the cluncky animation that takes forever swaping from and into.
