Hi, I'm playing on ps4 and I've more than 700 reps. I suggest to check and revisiting the tracking of shieldbash when you carry out an heavy with a softfeint in shieldbash, the right time to perform a dodge is hard to catch and conq can hit you easily in the most of cases if your dodge is not correctly. Then, I suggest to impose 300ms like for gryphon before carry out a shield bash after a forward dodge, the window to delay the shieldbash is great and you can also decide to buffer the shieldbash and do it quickly after the previous 100ms. Then fix the bug to animation of full block done after a right side heavy or top heavy. I'm looking for changes about option select that will be done early and I hope that zone of conq will have changes as well, e.g. remove total block for 1st 360° winding and then let him have the safe property. About me it's so important change that zone because conquerors use this feature to parry in predict during an enemy chain series so conquerors know, they can perform a parry or carry out a zone which protect them from an enemy series. For now it's enough maybe it would be better and great if the time to enter in full block stance will be increase to 500ms, he has already softfeint with that awful tracking but I don't know if this option is an optimal idea, anyway after a full block he can do whatever he wants and become so hard perform a guardbreak because he can do a buffering shieldbash or zone and your guardbreak is interrupted. Maybe a rework with hardfeint will able to consider the idea to increase time to enter in full block stance.
This is very difficult to read but let me see if I understood. You are asking for:
1) a tracking nerf to his soft feint bash
2) changing his forward bash input window from 100-500ms to 300-500ms
3) A fix to full block feinting in a specific instance that makes it look like you're throwing another heavy
4) adding a delay to his zone's superior block property till after the first feint window
5) potentially taking 500ms to enter FB instead of 400ms
I think the tracking is only difficult because the bash is so long. So people early dodge. The bash is 800ms which is pretty slow. That's basically cent's uncharged jab but preceeded by 400ms of a tell. I think nerfing it's tracking alone would be overkill. It needs buffs elsewhere as both it and the bash in chain do not get used competitively. Conq rarely attacks at a competitive level.
I don't like the 300-500ms window at all. Gryphon's neutral bash is now a worse Cent kick. That being said bashes/dodge attacks that can be done 100ms into their dodge is part of the problem of some stronger defense. Instead i'd rather the input window be 200-400ms as the new universal window for all dodge related attacks/bashes. This lets them retain some level of offensive and defensive capability but not as strong as now.
I kind of like how the full block animation can sometimes look like that. However it's a holdover from when you were able to soft feint a specific way and according to the bug reporter said soft feint was removed. So it should be addressed.
I 100% agree with delaying his full block property on his zone. His zone option select is the only OS that isn't beaten with a feint into light. I'd also like to see superior block on side dodges removed completely from him.
I don't think we need to increase his enter time further. 400ms is already him making a read in most situations. And if his forward bash can only be done from 200ms-400ms now that means it'll take him at least 600ms to bash out of full block. Which I think is reasonable.
Conq would obviously need buffs elsewhere in his kit.
I do not agree with nerf to Conqueror. I agree, yes, that Conqueror has to have a Rework to the extent that it is neither better nor worse, just different than it is now.
Conqueror has always been an S Tier since the beginning, and now not so much. But the tools it has are still effective, but they are already outdated when it comes to the fast gameplay that is now practiced. I think there should be a better balance between Defensive and Offensive mode, and not be so defensive.
It no longer has feints of origin, given the specificity of the weapon it uses. (i Guess ...)
It has soft feint for Shield Bash or Full stance.
I like the concept of the character, but I think we are all in agreement that it is lame to play with him and against him.
He is absolutely S tier in duels. Barak put him number 1 in his playlist, because of his many optionselects, he is a walking fortress that can not be taken down. His offense is thrash, and he is useless in 4v4.Originally Posted by PicoAncus Go to original post
He is absolutely not fun to play as and against. Which is a shame, he could be really fun. He needs a complete, total rework which strips him from most of his defensive tools, and make his offense fun and viable.

Second, it is precisely that. Conqueror is too strong in 1VS1, but then in 4VS4 it has no tools to make it as strong and fun to play as some characters.
I confess that I'm not a duelist, I prefer team fights, and I can't currently play more than 2 Dominions with Conqueror because he's so lame ... And I also don't like it when I face one ... The game is just the same ... Always on the defensive, an goes on and on... He`s a complete staller...
I like the core of the caracter, but he need to be diferent that he is now.
