I need Help !!!!!!!!
I have a Laptop I have been playing Grw on and my Home system I play on when not out on the road.
So Sunday I was on the Laptop trying to play and because of the Outage ended up with a cloud syng that is not at the same level of play or guns as before the outage.
Question my home unit was not even booted up so What will happen to my level of play on it since the laptop has a new sync.????
Is there a way to resync both to the level that I had before the outage.???
So basically use the home unit to tell the cloud where I should be.

Assuming you have both ubisoft connects set up to cloud sync when you log into your home computer it should ask you which file you want to load from- the local game file or the cloud based one.
If you want to preserve that one on your home computer then just pick local. Then next time you go to your laptop you can sync from the cloud based one since it’ll have adjusted when you play on your other comp.

Would it be a bad idea to play for 30mins - 1hr offline then connect and sync from the Local file?

Ok not a very happy camper!!!!
I open up the game which immediately sync with the cloud and now the home unit is the same as the laptop.
It didn't give my a choice to backup from cloud or files and now it like I'm starting over.!!!!
Is there any record of any thing we can go back to by date in the cloud say 5-6-21 or 5-7-21???????????

Gross... not sure why it wouldn't have asked you which one... if there is a mismatch between the two saves- unless it's only if you disable cloud sync in ubisoft connect. Guess it doesn't matter anymore.Originally Posted by crosslhs82 Go to original post

Well I was able to get a couple weapons and accessories back during play last night but still not where I was.
The 1 thing I see is the home unit connects upon clicking Uplay , or clicking on the game icon itself without asking for
Signin credentials. The laptop asks for the the credentials to connect or play offline so the home unit synced to the cloud automatically.
So without any other points to revert to like in win10 restore points I'm starting over.
I have looked in the settings to see if there is anything set to change it's actions on opening but can't figure out what to change.
It's almost like I must have told windows to remember user info and password credentials and connects right away.
Any thoughts for a secondary backup?

Also would uninstalling uplay or ubisoft connect do away with the auto signin.?

I don't remember what I did but, I managed to get the home unit to not login automatically now and have played
On both 1 at a time and both are at the New levels of current play.
It sure would be nice to have a second way of backing up even if its 96 hrs apart.
Is there any way to copy and paste the game saves from time to time in a backup folder separate from the game then delete and paste as another way to save?
