Things I would like to see TD2, but I will not hold my breath.
I have been a Division Grind-House player, playing over the past 5 years (TD1/TD2).
Having reached SHD 6,000 in TD2, I have had a change to reflect and make a bucket list of what I would like to see in TD2, here goes nothing:
• Spam Firewall Mod: Grants immunity to all drone and grenade damage. Also disables and collects all drones and grenades for 15 seconds. At the end of 15 second collection time all drones and grenades are hacked and deployed to all enemies with 50 meters with an increase of 200% damage.
• “I’m goanna get you!” Chest mod: If attacked by a NPC melee hostile and while player is trying to reload, grants player immunity from all damage for 15 seconds. If attached by multiple melee NPC attackers, grants 30 seconds of damage immunity and 500% weapon damage for 30 seconds.
• “Going to need a bucket!” Named Holster: Grants 1,000% weapon damage if an NPC says, Goanna Need a Bucket.
• “Ammo belt!” Face mask Mod: If an NPC says “Ammo Belt”. Grants 500% weapon damage and grants immunity to all sources of damage for 30 seconds.
• “Try the house special” Named Mask. Talent Return to sender. Returns damage from all sources to any NPC saying, “Try the house special!” or saying, “I’ve been waiting to use this” or saying, “They are going to see this one from space”.
• Verbal Dent – Damage Talent for all weapon types. Killing an NPC before they can finish their pre-programmed vocalized phrase/saying, results in 100% weapon and 200% skill damage for 30 seconds.
• Should Have been there! Pistol Talent – While on any mission on any level with talent equipped, if an NPC fails to spawn in player’s area of play, grant mission completed instantly, with 100% increase in all rewards, along with one Exotic Cache, One Named Weapon cache and Three Optimization Caches.
• Bad Doggy: Submachine Gun Talent – While shooting at a running NPC robot, if the magazine is emptied and the NPC is not killed, grants 500% weapon and 200% armor and Full health on reload. Duration of buff 20 seconds.
• “We’re goanna rule this whole world!” LMG talent: If an NPC says “We are going to rule this whole world” grants 200% rate of fire and 500% ammunition for 30 seconds.
• “Given me a hug” Chest Mod: If an exploding NPC hits player from behind, grants full health and armor for 30 seconds.
• Immunome suppressor -Suppressor for LMG, SMG, Assault Rifle and Handgun. If player is face tanking an enemy within 5 meters grants 500% Health and 500% Armor for three reloads.
• Beginner Pistol – Named Pistol: If player’s SHD score is under 1,000, grants the following damage with pistol. If the enemy is type Red and is more than 50 meters away grants a guaranteed one shot kill on next bullet. If the enemy is Veteran purple type and is more than 50 meters away grants a guaranteed one shot kill to three enemies with the one bullet fired. If the enemy is type Elite type yellow, and is more than 50 meters away, grants a guaranteed one shot kill to five enemies with one bullet fired. Also, with Pistol equipped, if play is one shot killed from any source, the player is instantly restored to 100 % armor and 100% Health with all resources restocked and weapons re-loaded.
• Dead See Skills – Skill mod: If a Skill fails to deploy or fails to do any damage while idle by the player, grants 1,000 % weapon damage and 500% armor for the duration of the dead skill.
• Stuck in a rut - EMP Mod – If the player gets stuck in an obstacle and cannot get out, grants that the next Pulse that is deployed by the player kills all enemies with 50 meters and then frees the player from the obstacle.
• Drunken Gunner SMG talent – Dancing Emotes guarantee one shot kills to all enemies within 20 meters while emoting a dance with weapon equipped.
• If Pigs could fly - Pulse Mod – Climbing, and elevated NPC robots are destroyed instantly by player EMP. If the Robot NPC Climbs a rope or wall of a building or is elevated more than 20 meters above the player, the EMP player pulse kills all hostiles within 50 meters.
• So long F-Tards - Skill Talent – while in a group, if an objective is missed and respawned occurs all player are granted 300% increased movement, 10,000% weapon damage, 100,000 % skill damage, no skill cooldown and 500% health for 360 seconds.
• Kamikaze Noob – Named Pistol with Legendary Talent: While in a group on a Legendary Mission, if a team player runs ahead of the group and gets killed within 3 seconds, the dead player is automatically removed from group and all players remaining on team have immunity to all sources of damage for three minutes. Kamikaze Noob can stack Immunity up to 3 times. Once the stack is full, all remaining player(s) on team have 1,000% Weapon Damage, 1,000% Health, 1,000% Hazard protection 1,000% Skill damage, 1,000 % Skill Healing and no Skill cooldown for the remainder of the Mission.
I wonder if anyone else has something they would like to see in Division 2.
