Well, I take back my last comment too. After finishing the Control Point challenge on MLK, I wandered around the streets for 20 minutes engaging any random NPC groups, but with the tiny "adjustment" of avoiding headshots on first kills.
Put another way, I made sure first kill for any non-reanimated NPC was a body shot, then kills once they reanimated were all headshots. Just doing this over and over I eventually had enough situations where a reanimated was close enough to get damage from the headshot cloud, and within the prescribed 20 minutes finished that one too (kill reanimated hostiles using corrosive headshot damage)!
I'll have to remember that technique should this GE ever repeat again, but I got 100% completion on all four days' challenges!
Too bad I had an ood number of stars, and ended up wasting two. It was too late in the evening to level up just to get one more to buy a cache. I wish they took some ideas from Div 1 to this game; the GE vendor stayed open after the GE ended, so you could still "buy" GE-specific caches.
Sweet. How did you do the "Kill reanimated hostiles with fire" one? I didn't get many of those (just 20 or so) during my normal play, and I couldn't think of any way to do the other 80 that didn't seem overly tedious. (I considered the Firewall specialization's flamethrower and the Survivalist's grenades, but both appeared to me to be somewhat slow to collect ammo for.)Originally Posted by Sock_Monkey Go to original post
