Doesn't the game saves automatically to the cloud? I don't remember ever saving the game.

Yep.. but the ps5 doesn't always load the PS4 cloud saves, for example GTA V I had to 'find' the save. 1st time I loaded it, it was new game..

Yes, the game does save to the cloud! As long as you are using the same PSN account your save data should transfer to your PS5 and the process should be seamless once you insert the disc.

Did any more info come out about Breakpoint being one of the games to get cross platform progression via Connect?

I'd like to load my console progress to the PC version if I could.

Is Ghost Recon Breakpoint compatible with a ps5 and will I be able to keep my current character or will I have to start over? I've maxed out each class and completed all the missions with maxed out weapons. it would be a bit of a grind to start over.

It does carry over but as someone else mentioned, it's not necessarily cut and dry or automatic. I had issues as well synching up saves from my PS4 to my PS5. To be honest, I don't know if I could even walk you through it but with a little searching and playing around, I got it all squared away. I would just make sure your latest saves, etc. are uploaded to the could from the PS4 first. .....so what you download to the PS5 is exactly where you left off.

On the PS4, it has to be done in the main PS4 screen. Use the option button when the game tile is selected and choose the upload/download option. .....can't recall exactly what it was named but it's there. This is not a menu option within the game if that is where you are looking.

On the PS5, there is a menu within Settings called "Saved Data and Game/App Settings. From there you can see your cloud storage for both your PS4 and PS5 games. You also have the option to manually download it for each individual title.

Just be careful as you don't want to accidentally overwrite your latest saves with old ones. .....or inadvertently delete them.

I had to use that screen when I imported my saves to my PS5 if I remember correctly. It just wasn't working as it was supposed to but I got it sorted doing some manual manipulation.
