Sure. But your posts appear to be showing ignorance or promoting bad ideas, you'll get the expected response. You can change how your posts are interepreted by changing what you write; if you don't wish to do so, complaining about it won't help.Originally Posted by GamerGirlL3xi Go to original post
Well, apparently you just were, according to your own posts.I am not going to be...insulted for expressing an opinion.
it's not about shd levels but playstyle. if one agent plays differently than the rest of the group, either he dies, gets carried or wipes the team out (especially those at the back who likes to shoot first, puts their turret or decoy infront of their team mates, opens the door immediately shoots)
got kicked on Capitol legendary while playing with 3k+ 1k+ teammates, why? they didnt know how to not spawn the heavy and 2 dogs and the rushers at the gate, they just hid in cover in middle ruiins with their turrets and drones.
played with 1 shd level on DUA leg +5 directives, he had 50 kills, the guy who had 1k level only has 20 kills and kept complaining why i have directives active on my session.
Had this yesterday. Playing Roosevelt. First time got kicked 2/3rd of way through with a group that was all 2k plus. Second time the guys were all in the 250 level plus and we made it through. Nothing said before kicked me either. I'm at 570 now and can hold my own. Funny thing was on the run through with the lower level guys we took our time and had fun, 3 of us had the same amount of kills almost, think 6 separated highest to 3rd. Its crazy cause SHD means nothing, ive played with some low level guys that are great and some high level guys I spent half the time picking up off the floor. You usually notice the ones that are going to be hassle as they go running off in thick of things or miss key moments like spawns and get cut off (been guilty of this learning Roosevelt!)
As already said, SHD levels are not an excuse, even from SHD 1 to SHD 1000 it may even have some "advantage", but after this is ********.
This "limitation of game for a specific group" and which I am totally against, this already happens with raids where only those who enter clans can catch some exotic ones.
Personally, I rather get confused by players having reached an SHD-Level over 1,000 that still
- use only one piece of a Gear Set,
- use six pieces of a Gear Set,
- use Exotics that seem to be equipped just because they are exotic,
- use talents on backpacks and vests that not only are rather bad but also not even active in their current "build",
- combine weapons and Brand Sets that do not have any synergy,
- have attributes mixed up like a poured bag of M&M's,
- reconfigure attributes into their builds that are not even utilized (e. g. Skill Damage without using an attack skill)
- or even start optimizing really bad gear and
- even close to useless attributes (like Explosive Resistance on a regular DD).
- ...
If you then want to help them by, for example, suggesting how to improve their build – a lot of them will just ignore you. Some will even insult you.
Of course I also did meet players with a rather low SHD-Level who refused to accept any advice (for example especially on floor 100 of The Summit or during the Morozova-fight), but on average the less experienced agents weren't noticeably worse players than the much more experienced agents. In fact, they at least were the better listeners and learners.
So, SHD-Levels son't mean anything.
Imho it's just the same old problem over and over again that some players too quickly punch above their own weight. Because they feel they have to play the hardest content asap, they think they are entitled to clear the hardest content without having to prepare for it or simply misjudge their own capabilities (caused by copying all "the best" builds out there on YouTube and by being carried by the AFK-drone/turret-skillbuild-meta).
I do get what you are saying here, but shd level is not the problem.Originally Posted by GamerGirlL3xi Go to original post
maybe a challenge for players to open legendary.
Like: solo 3 heroic missions. (I don't know)
That's not gonna happen tho.
What I always do is, the moment someone joins I inspect them.
And if I get 3 people below shd 100, still have purple gear for some reason and no skill gear at all.
I tell them:
Make a skill build, even if it's a trash one. Then people will think, at the very least they have a skill build, and they are trying.
If they don't have that, I just leave.
Then at least they know why people leave or kick them.
(And before I get all the hate)
I used to try it but if 3 players die the first 30sec, and I get all the aggro and get spammed to dead with suicide drones then it just doesn't work.
If its 2 with low gear and someone with a good build I'll do it, but I tell them:
Don't open any doors untill everyone stands near the door so you know they are ready.
It's really annoying if you are trying to switch to another build and you're in combat already.
But on the other hand some high shd players think:
Let me try and speed run this with randoms.
I don't mind doing that but also they should say at the start: Speedrun?
So players like me know to only use 1 build.
LOL IMO that's just another bizarre adventure, ingame.Originally Posted by Noxious81 Go to original post
Edit: The original The Division was more difficult and demanding, in a good way, 2 is too easy... No one is "forced" to think about his gear like it was in the original. I'm not surprised some people don't think about it. For them it's just gun and run...
