Everyone, set up two step verification now to not be targeted, hacked, and banned.

    Hello other just dancers,

I have been hacked, have had scores changed to max, with the intention to get my account banned.
Ubisoft has said they did not make an error and will not remove my ban. (Which is absolutely unfair in complete honesty, considering they can check who has signed in, what they played and overall what happened, I have proof of when I was playing and when I was not etc etc. I provided proof of sign ins and other things but was scattered away with ''it was not a mistake'', completely ignoring the fact I have been hacked and basically targeted.

They only need your Ubisoft account to do so, if you do not have 2FA turned on, it will only send an email (and if you even get a notification about the email) that new device has signed in and won't request anything else.

They can also do these things even without signing into your account, all they need is the email and password, with that they can generate an authentication key and do things to your Just Dance profile on all consoles. At least that's what people say still works and others can still do it.

There was a massive data breach few months ago of tens of millions of users (not Ubisoft's breach), many people use the same OR similar password for different services, that way they can easily get to most of your stuff. 2 factor auth at least gives you some sort of security.

Ubisoft needs to get a stronger security system that should NOT allow you to send requests and data to it's servers from non-console devices, or without a proper auth from a console or something.

Just be safe, people are crazy.

    Hello kubaratzka,

Thank you for the PSA and my greatest apologies for this happening to you. Yes, we do urge all of our players to please set up 2 Factor authentication for an extra layer of security for their accounts.

You can find an article how to set this up Here. You can also reach out to our Support Team if you have any questions with this process.

    Hello,
I have reached to your support two weeks ago and they have said the ban was not going to be lifted as there was ''no error'' in applying that. Which honestly is absolutely not okay considering I provided all the needed proof. Still bummed.

Why there is a ban in the first place? Just because someone scored 13333 on a song or WDF doesn't mean you have to restrict that user from all internet functionality such as World Dance Floor, Just Dance Unlimited, and Dancer Of The Week
