At a moment, you need to stop crying about the summit for "cheaters"; First of all, it's not cheating, it's exploiting the game mechanics, and EVERYONE can do that. Cheating would mean that only a few players that have installed an external software to go faster or anything, and I have never seen this on this game.
And how do you explain that I did 96th in the Motorshow Summit (aka one of the cHeAtiEsT summit) without doing any multiplayer trick ? IVT are doing efforts for you crying guys to have a chance to do it on singleplayer !
Just be good, or exploit the game. Don't complain when you can do one of both, or both.
You just need to get more PURE, EXTRA PUMP, FRENETIC, RESOURCEFUL, VENTILATED etc. I have never done any summit in a crew or used any glitch and have always reached plat level. Most events I only do once or twice so its not that hard, and I use just my pc keyboard for all events.
According to the CoC, exploiting is considered cheating, and has the same punishments as hacking the game would. Ergo, whether cheating or exploiting, they are considered one and the same under the CoC, and capable of the same punishments.Originally Posted by EDDYMALOU974 Go to original post
I find somewhat hilarious all these guys claiming "git gud", yeah having the right set will help but... if there is no cheater, can someone explain me this: in the Inferno summit, the first 500 in the pursuits were under 2 - 3 seconds and according to a friend, the first 1000 were under 20 seconds.
So.......if these times are legit, can you tell me the recipe to be able to stop time legally?
This one is priceless, you are actually promoting to exploit the game? It's considered cheating you know.Originally Posted by EDDYMALOU974 Go to original post
First of all, let me say that I really dislike using these exploits! Some people argue that it is not "cheating" since no additional software or tricks are needed and it is just improper game mechanics.Originally Posted by Oeilduciel Go to original post
The trick is easy: Start the race in a crew of x (x>1), have the others quit immediately, and you will get the time of them leaving as your result, no matter how long it takes you to finish the hunt mission.
As I said: I consider it cheating and I don't use it and discourage others from using it!
The main question is, how this bug could have slipped through at IVT - the person who "fixed" the original "people leaving early"-bug has definitely not even tested the fix because it happens every time and you notice it in your first try.
And who tries this?
Who are actively hunting for exploits..
It is a mentality thing.
Abuse of programming errors of any kind are a bannable offense.
Unfortunately rarely executed.
If the IVT dev and Ubi legal team do not uphold their own rules and in-game regulations, why make them in the first place?
IMO if you organize an event like the summit or PvP, you should apply a basic E-Sport approach. To keep things clean and fair. Just a thought.
