    GR: Wildlands Remastered!!

So I tried playing Breakpoint once again, and once again I was so disappointed... It's a sad litlle game compared to Wildlands, so Wildlands Remastered please, ubi, please! Not a total remake, but a remaster with these features:

    1) Old missions rehashed & new missions in a new map (a large Bolivian city would be awesome)
    2) New enemy types & slightly improved AI
    3) Ray-tracing graphics, obviously

Even though GR: WIldlands remastered has been suggested before on this forum, Wildlands was an amazing game, so no need to add a ton of new features in it. Keep it simple, boys, keep it simple.

I agree, but do think it should go further, with many of the features discussed many times on this forum.

    To name just a few:-

Fully detailed AI team orders and ROE.
    Greater control of rebels.
An improved progression and reward system.
Greater customization (Character, weapons, gear, skills)
    Gear and weapon weight system.
Less disposable vehicles. Ability to carry gear and weapons in vehicles.
    Dynamic reactive world.
    Camo that actually effects stealth.
Ability to go covert, (civilian clothes, no overtly carried weapons).
Whilst I wouldn’t want to mess with the story too much, I love to be able to choose my own objectives sometimes. Decide whether to kill, capture, or implicate. (As implied in the original ‘White hat’ trailer. Perhaps this is where some of the new missions could come in.

I've mentioned this in past topics regarding a Wildlands remaster/update, but there are 4 (previously 3) things in Breakpoint I'd want to see added to Wildlands.

    1. Prone camo
    2. Holding breath while aiming
    3. Updated enemy alert system
    4. Variety of enemy types

If Ubisoft added these things to Wildlands, as it exists now or in a remaster, I'd go back to Bolivia and I doubt I'd ever leave.

Honestly, if they could have a team do a remastered Ghost Recon Saga, that contains Both GRAWs, GRFS and Wildlands, it would take the pressure off the main studio, and give them the time to properly create the next game in the franchise,

....don't forget the ability to drag or carry bodies / buddies. I'd also like to see this coupled with downed enemies that don't just disappear which would add a whole new dynamic to the gameplay. Better ballistics would be nice as well.

Optimization for next gen would also be nice. Not next gen only mind you but using PS5's backward compatibility enhancements and such.

    You got my vote.

For me the thing that is missing more in WL (I'm currently in a other play through) is good trigger for pistols, most the time I'm pressing the button but the game is not recognizing the input like it is with the rifle.
I want a trigger control that works like in BP.
I don't think WL needs a ton of features, but I'd love to see a couple of things added or improved in it:
    - I want to see the ability to select the color of weapon parts freely, if I want a coyote brown buttstock with an black rifle, I should be able to like in BP.
    - I would like to see a inventory system like in the division, where you go to select your vest and you have an level of armor that it will provide you (of course, without the RPG BS) like, you select an JPC 2.0 with level III plates, it will give you an value of armor, or you select an level IV plate for it, you have a bigger amount of protection, but your stamina is reduced a little.
From this inventory style I'd also like to see us being able to select our holster, give us a few options, ubisoft already has permission to use Safariland gear, give us an 6354 and an 6390 light/laser bearing holster and other models.
Ps: Of course helmets would also give a value of protection, but nothing that would award 10 shots in the head to kill in PVP, maybe 2 to 3 depending on the caliber.
    - Launchers are a separate weapon entity. Isn't it frustrating when FC5 which is not a military game, the character can use the CG AT rifle and an independent GL like the M79 but we cant in what was supposed to be a military game?
    - Realistic stats for attachments and weapons, regardless of the laser, it will give a similar stat, now you use the model you like more, the forward grip will give the same stats, recoil reduction, you just pick the one you like the most based on the looks.
Guns stats are based on caliber, cartridge type, barrel length.
An MK18 shouldn't have almost the triple of the damage of an M4 or the ACR, or almost twice more damage than the Mk17.
    - Smoke grenades
    - Flashlights that can illuminate but also blind enemies (like in MGSv) you press and hold a button while not aiming the gun and you turn on and off the flashlight, now when you aim it will automatically turn on or not.
This would be really good for a few interiors, where it's dark inside but the NVG don't work that well...
    - better cosmetics:
I think in overall a lot of things look better in WL (several camouflages look more real in WL, some cosmetics look better also)
But the gloves, vest's and boots look awful.
When you use a few of the gloves with long sleeves, the wrist of the gloves inflates.
There is a very small selection of vest's.
I'd like to see properly modeled versions of: JPc 2.0, AVS, Eagle CIRAS, LBT 6094 gen 3 and others.
Boots like: Merrel MOAB, Salomon quest prime (which was one of their most used models by high speed operators before being phased out).
Ability to select or remove a battle belt, but not that bulky 511 one that is empty.
Rather an model like the Crye MRB or the eagle operator gun belt with couple pistol mag pouches, rifle pouch, dump pouch, small IFAK kit.
    And going into vehicles:
I'd love to see an UH1 huey being used by both unidad and the cartel, because it's the chopper used by bolivian armed forces and it's good and more inexpensive compared to an more modern blackhawk.
Also would love to see an Quadricycle and an polaris mrzr (actually is my biggest fantasy, hunting carl Carl bookhart in an Quadricycle)

These are all the things I'd love to see ingame.
This and once we conquer SB outposts the rebels take over and we'd get support in a region.
IMO would make the game more immersive and fun, that we unlock certain side ops by taking outposts in the province we enter.
Explaining a bit more, we start in itacua, with the rebels being nearly exterminated, so there is almost zero rebel presence in the province, I think after we rescue Amaru, we could take over a few of the outposts in the province to unlock side missions to get the support. And once we move into a new province, we have no support, but if we take over one outposts not only the support is back online, but we unlock the side ops for upgrading it.

In the animations department, agree with El_Cuervacho:
While I like the way Nomad holds the weapons in WL better (because he is not holding the pistol on his nose, and not looking to the ground when aiming)
I'm missing the character getting in a ready position when near threats
A more faster reload and weapon transitions.

(I also think the aimbot of the enemy should be reduced, but their day night cycle, reinforcements mechanics and the fact that they try to surround us and suppress us, should be left untouched)

A little off topic but I'm dying for a next gen tactical shooter that would take advantage of the DualSense haptic feedback on the PS5. A game that factors in trigger pull (weight), break and maybe even double action feel (where appropriate), etc. Trigger mods could also factor in to lighten the pull and so on.

There are not a lot of games out there that take advantage of the DualSense yet but from what I've seen (or rather felt), this could bring another level to the immersion of how guns feel, how they are modified, etc.

Yep, absolutely, and what an advancement for tactical shooters that one will be.

To be honest, that was the first thing I thought of when they announced the details of it. .....and after having used it with some off the games available, I can really appreciate how well this would do in a shooter that would take advantage of it. The motion feedback is also much more fine tuned and versatile than the DualShock so I could see the feel of recoil playing a bigger part too. .....maybe giving the controller a bit of a physical bump in the right place(s).

....racing games taking advantage of the controller would also be cool. .....simulating brake fade, suspension damage, vibrations, pull, etc.

If Ubi decides to get their stuff together and make a GR folks want, I hope they tap into the capabilities of the DS on the PS5.
