A Couple Ideas for Nuxia QOL Buffs.

    Unblockable Deflect.

    More "Range" on traps.

    A Couple side ideas.

A sort of "Hidden" mechanic similar to orochi storm rush. Making it harder to just react to.

    Variable Timing Dodge Attacks.

Making her deflect unblockable is an interesting proposal as her deflect was designed as a mix up and hence why you can defend against it. Though i'm not sure how it would "feel" having such a quick unblockable show up. Personally I think the current deflect option is fine. But i'd like to compliment it with either a guaranteed low heavy finisher or just a heavy finisher input. The former would allow Nuxia to make more use of her finisher mechanic that lets her corral someone where she wants and since you can control what direction you attack out of you have more control over where the finisher throws the person. The latter would allow her to mix between a quick high damage attack that's not guaranteed that has enough hitstun to prevent someone from auto dodging out of your combo. OR turning it into a trap that would catch someone trying to block or parry her deflect attack.

Her dodge attacks do feel a bit stiff. I would suggest giving it a 200-400ms input window instead of what it is now. Personally I also want something done about her zone. it's very weak. And maybe making her finishers be unblockable.

Occasionally in duels (against a conq as a good example) I'll throw a heavy and soft feint it into a trap. The conq would side dodge into the indicator with just enough distance away from me, that the trap misses even though he had his guard up on the same side. Where as in this same situation if you just let the heavy fly, it would hit his guard. Little more range on the traps would be good for this.

I'm not opposed to traps having more range. I'm just not sure if they can achieve that since traps aren't actual moves in the game.

I'm sure if you could at one point gb someone across the map with a snowball, I'm sure trap range could be increased lol

I saw something that nuxia would do well if her heavy finishers were undodgeable as her traps make them a pseudo unblockable as is. If she had a pk style multi hit zone where the initial hit is quick and the follow up hit could be soft feinted to trap while also being undodgeable. Make her have two separate deflect options. Heavy deflect is her current one where she also has a guaranteed light deflect as well for lower dmg. She could also do with a speed buff on her dodge attack or make it a heavy parry and keep it as is i guess. im not to sure on the dodge attack. Maybe add a dodge cancel to her recoveries or something as well. Something that i think should be standard for assassins anyways.

Imo she just needs a few updates and she would be there it feels like for me. shes on the cusp of something good it feels like to me but shes not quite there.

The problem with making her finishers undodgable is really that you don't dodge to avoid her traps like you'd dodge to avoid unblockables. Making her finishers unblockable would force someone to try and parry which is what her traps are meant to catch. So that would strengthen her trap usage whilst also allow more frequent use of her finishers capability to throw opponents. I could see the benefit of making her finishers undodgable if we're purely looking at gank/team fight scenarios where people dodge more often. And she kind of is THE team fight assassin. But if you're attempting to boost her trap viability in onsies unblockable finishers makes more sense.

Well I suggested undogable as ive seen alot of people while playing her dodge her heavies, especially characters with block on dodge. It would be cool if mid chain heavies got the undodgable property added to them. Another reason i say undodgable was if she has access to alot of unblockables easily or pseudo unblockables then 4s and her externaling could become a problem mayhaps. Im not too keen on how balance works in 4s as im mainly a duelist though so i could be wrong on that point. Nuxia isnt my specialty lol, just highlander.

You're most likely correct. Traps and unblockable finishers would be far too oppressive for an external situation. It would be more acceptable if she was a dueling focused character. A probably much healthier way for me to accomplish my goal with her finisher mechanic would be to give her a guaranteed low damage heavy finisher whilst letting her light retain it's high damage but be unblockable.

She already had the feats set up for her to be a duelist character even in 4s. She was supposed to be the original warmonger and take people on solo.
