    [PS4][Camera] Just Dance 2021 doesn't recognize a little kid

    Hello.
Could you help me with my problem?

The game couldn't recognize my 5 years old daughter. She's 110cm tall. I had the same issue on JD 2017, but it's the same on JD 2021. We have all conditions met (2m from the camera, good lighting, contrast clothes, etc.). The camera works ok with adults and in VR games. Sometimes she's recognized but pretty randomly and it seems that it's easier for the game to recognize the sofa, for example, as a dancer than my daughter. It's frustrating a bit considering this game as being for family. We don't understand how the girl couldn't be recognized while the part of the furniture could be.
Could you help us with it? Or could it be improved in the next update?

    Thanks,
    Artem.

    Hello!
First of all I'd like to point out that the PS Camera is very bad when playing with children. The camera itself is not a motion sensor itself, it's just two camera lenses and an AI deciding on what is supposedly a person and what not, it does not have a special sensor like for example kinect, so it does not always work perfectly. The kinect on the other hand has no problems, so if you have an Xbox One console at home, I'd recommend looking into that.

Try to place the camera to her waist level, this could make the camera think she is tall enough to be considered a person.
If there is a piece of furniture the PS Camera is most likely going to pick it up, but see what you can try to get a clean play space.

    Hope it somewhat helps!

    Hey, Artem!

Sorry to hear that you are running into the issue. As advised by kubaratzka try lowering the camera and removing any obstacles from the camera's view.

Additionally, try unplugging and replugging in the camera to reset it.

Let us know how you get on please.

    Thank you.
