Bring Back Bridge Crew Petition
Hello everyone, I would like to bring up something important to all of you.
The STBC community on discord have worked together to make a change.org to bring back Bridge Crew.
Hopefully this will actually make Ubisoft re-think their decision to flatline Bridge Crew.

What do you mean by "their decision to flatline Bridge Crew"?

No updates, or bugfixes pretty much.

All they need to do is release modding support and the game would explode. There is so so much that could have been done with this game, it was fun especially multiplayer. Ubisoft on these very forums talked about passion for keeping the game supported with new additions etc, then they added some poorly implemented voice command support that no one wanted and that was it.
Trekies around the world want full on borg and Klingon space battles, more crew members with more in depth actions, new ships areas, away missions, ds9 it could have been amazing if only it had the support behind it. Annoying Ubisoft own the rights to a lot of the IP and sadly haven't got the support to implement into a full fledged game.

I do not like star trek, but this game made me a fan. The core gameplay is great and despite the bugginess is one of the most fun and intuitive VR games I have played. They dont need to do much to make more sales. I think one problem is how to charge for new content without splitting a player-base that is almost to small to sustain itself.
Add 6 new mission types into the randomized gameplay loop to use random locations.
Add 2 new campaign missions.
Add decals on uniform that match player rank.
Add achievements and trophies that can be viewed as physical objects in waiting area.
Add new monthly mission challenge with leaderboard to retain users and build competitive community.
Couple more AI ship varieties.
Add rogue-like linear campaign mode similar to FTL. Pick from limited selection of locations to make it through a gauntlet of challenges.
Fix friend list.
STBC doesnt need more depth or complications. The simplicity of the game is what makes it work so well for VR. Just modest effort would bring back huge amount of interest to this game / sequel. So many new people are coming to VR now and there are no games that compete with this experience or massive brand. A sequel with new campaign and above features would easily be enough to deserve another $30.

Agreed. This is a diamond-in-the-rough game that could be huge for Ubisoft if supported and opened up to the fan base for modding and player input.
