a little bit but there are many who simply don't care and I'm sick of seeing franchises do weird stuff to appease non fans who really don't care about the franchise

That's what I was aiming for.. or resetting back in the day [so we don't have ******* robots].. I just always liked Clark as a character, so would be happy at a minor Retcon of part of his history

I thought they were talking about books. I didn't realize folks treated video games as cannon. TIL I guess

I guess you dont know that the games, the novels and movies are all in different universes, but up until some time ago, they all (games and movies) drew inspiration and followed most of what was canon in the novels.

Regardless, apologies for poking the hornet's nest. I figured y'all were here for the gameplay, not the story.

I've read a bunch of the older Tom Clancy books, love the Harrison Ford movies [and Hunt], but never got into the later stuff that was turned into Video Games. Those I just played because I liked playing them - not for the story. Though I will admit to enjoying the Division story.

Good story compliment good gameplay, **** story is not worth playing even if it has good gameplay, the gameplay can catch me for a few moments, but it has zero replay value.
I like WL because had a good gameplay and the story reminded me of Narcos 2 (which is based on a real story)
It also reminded me of Clear and present danger.
Story is important, BP has a somewhat good gameplay, story sucks and has zero replay...
Dont want to play it anymore
