It's just so annoying that the general attitude i'm seeing is -crab rave- Gryphon is dead. -crab rave-
Like even if he was the most imbalanced and toxic piece of garbage that was ever released you still shouldn't celebrate a near gutting of the character.
Nor should you over look the massive dumpster fire of a decision to make such kit altering changes right before a tourney. Maybe I just expect too much from the average player.



I scream here because I know the mods will take my feedback and pass it on. They've done it many times before. Comp players already directly talk to the devs so I need to show them that there are casual players like myself who don't accept this behavior.

I never celebrate a full gutting. I celebrated Hito nerfs until I tried them and then decided they were too much.

I celebrated LB nerfs and I still do well with him so I never stopped celebrating him.

Gryphon I celebrate as I do not believe for a minute that this will gut his kit. He will still be strong.

Honestly I find the tourny thing a bit comical as a player who specifically avoids overtuned heroes. I always play my main, not the new "meta". Those who only use metas, RIP.

Really it's just a personal vendetta of mine with lots of bias. LOL

I would of nerfed Gryphs bash by subtracting his follow ups on wiff. I really didn't want another dodge forward bash/gb mixup character.

griff's nerfs are completely over the top. basically a knee jerk reaction to reddit tard plebs screeching. griff's bash change makes it completely unviable at comp level as well as being completely gb on reaction dodge on whiff (presuming recoveries aren't changed) bc of removal of chain on whiff. cent kick is used at comp why bc its safe bc you can chain off whiff....... WL headbutt can't chain off whiff but it has low recovery time same with bp can we stop taking 4 steps back with creating healthy offense. like ffs griff's main problem was overtuned dmg and feats/overtuned healing, that's it. nerfs addressed that and then ubi decided to completely kill whatever progress they were making with another round of unnecessary and unhealthy nerfs including his bash and dodge heavy. unenhanced lights, unfeintable dodge attacks, reactable bash griff does not have good sustainable offense. and especially dropping it 2 days before qualifier is a slap in the face to the comp scene ubi is desperately trying to promote and revitalize. meanwhile all this is going on AoE debuff feats are completely bugged and no word on a hotfix.

Didn’t know that gryphon was getting nerfed until I read this forum... must say I am very happy to hear it, and i’m sure most of the playerbase will be too.

Was an awful character to play against & I refused to use him because it didn’t feel like I earned my win, just see it as easy mode. To the guy above me saying its a kneejerk reaction to people on reddit, what about the people that ragequit matches when they face gryphon? Or the people that have complained so many times here on the forums about him? He is an OP character and his kick/bash is unreactable (not sure how it is for PC players) but console its a depressing nightmare to play against.

So Thank you Ubisoft for the nerf, I might start enjoying the game a bit more again.

You made a bunch of dumb assumptions about Raime when he is one of the most respected members of these forums.

He isn't *****ing about the nerfs because he plays Gryphon. He's *****ing because of the way the devs decided to go about it.

Raime is seldomly arrogant. Usually quite modest about things, actually.

You also spell like a kid in 2nd grade, so just reading your first reply gave me a headache.
