It baffles the logical mind that this Dev team still FAILS to fix the ridiculous weather. As wel as the traffic bugs.
For some reason they don't care or don't think. Maybe both.

    Les Miserables describes them well.

I agree also why does it "snow" everywhere in map? make weather area dynamic. for example it should NEVER show in the desert or southern areas! (all of Florida, Gulf coast states and, Southern Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona, southern California! NO SNOW) lol it's crazy to be racing in Miami with snow covered palm trees just CRAZY!!

Right now it appears they are obsessed with wet roads graphics.
Even if it is not raining, the roads remain wet way too long.

It appears that there is too much focus on "Art Direction" and less on actual gameplay and driveability.

IMHO Weather should be a feature and not a constant nuisance.

At least they can't do worse than TC1's permanent rain..... right?

TC1 was actualy Way beter !
    it had 5 weather zones
yes Detroit and NY earia where mostly rain
but then ya just moved to Miami or Cali earia where it was mostly sunny
and if ya wanted snow, ya just went to the mountains where the Icetrack and the skiramp actualy had snow %)

in TC2 it rains more in the desert than it ever dos in Britain IRL %)

Do not underestimate them in that regard.

Besides weather in TC1 was more immersive, especially the custom lighting and climate zones

The obvious obsession with wet road visuals is strong within this team.
Maybe less visual botox and a better workout on driveability.

Agreed, but than Ai opponents and traffic should be affected similar to the players as well. This is not the case right now.
Even if that is a complete different topic, traffic and ai opponent behavior should reflect the driving conditions.
That would probably make the traffic more fun. Now their only goal in their pathetic Ai traffic life, is to make the players life miserable.

Also, the snow "physics" are a joke.

Everything is half arsed and not very well thought trough right now.

It appears that visuals are higher on the agenda than actual gameplay and driveability.

Most tragic part is that it can all be done 10x better with some effort. 90% just tweak some numbers.

A bit more realism in driving is most welcome. TC2 is no pure arcade game. Players who want that should stick to NFS

EDIT; after seeing "The game" it has become clear why the handling has been dumbed down with every update. TC2 transforms into Mario Kart and goes full Arcade.
Great opportunity to look around for alternatives. Might be fun for a few times. Good luck finding pre-teens with big wallets.

TC2 is arcade as racing game can be. Let alone the amout of grip of cars is absurd. I personaly feel no diference in handling under various weather conditions. Only in snow to road is hardly visible. Not to mention tha lack of mechanical damage system. There is no fuel or tires consuption, no vehicle parameters needs to be monitored actually.
