I post it here. Realy UBISOFT? Afther so awesome Gods of the Eastern Realm you blewing out to us this ridiculous *hit called Lost Gods?
-Absolultey worst gameplay ever. The camera is horrible, uncomfortable.
- really? Ash cannot even climb walls? WTF?
-No quick save?
- so much grinding, all for nothing?
- rpg style
And i payed my money for this trash?
Never again i buy something from you. You skrewed up with New god, you failed with Lost Gods. Have a bad day. I hope you guys fail . I wish you bankrupcy for giving me so much trash.
I haven't played it yet, but I am very disappointed to learn it is a top down view. As a rule I really dislike top down games, I've only ever tried a few I just can't get thru them. I expect I won't get thru this either. I guess I'm really surprised that this DLC is so different than the base game.
I love the base game and the first 2 DLC's, and I gave The Lost Gods a chance. But the locked camera view just completely ruins the game for me.
Why would you change what worked so well up until now? You created a great looking world just to make it so all we can see is the ground under your feet. It makes it impossible to scope out the area and make an attack plan for the bigger harder enemies. The fling enemies often fly up out of the limited camera view and make it hard to see until they attack you.
I highly recommend this game up to Myths of the Eastern Real, but skip The Lost Gods.

I don't mind the top down camera, I have played many games that use this view. Darksiders Genesis was the most recent one I played which I enjoyed.
The change from 3D to an isometric perspective is jarring though, I'm so used to wanting to tilt the camera so I can see off screen.
Personally I am enjoying it, although Ash can't swim and sustains damage if she falls in the water, and I miss the dash - so I have to use the mount which I hardly used in the main game.
Agree about the horrible camera. Maybe if we could zoom out a bit for more visual range or be able to tilt the camera atleast 45 degrees. Even that first vault was a bit of a struggle at first, with not being able to get a good look around, so you could figure out a plan of attack for the point A to point B.
Of course, since they never implemented any of the suggestions that were made from the base game, I highly doubt they will adjust anything in this or the other DLCs.
I get the impression that there were 3 different ideas about what this game was supposed to be and rather than pick 1 and do it well, They tried to do all 3 different styles and, well, you see how that turned out. Great base game and 3 sub-par DLCs that many people don't like.
i agree that the locked camera just ruined the dlc for me, but also the distance the camera is away from the player. a game like this needs a camera that you can look around with, not be locked in the positiion it in in making you miss out on 90% of the area. who ever made the decision to do this really ruined what could have been another good dlc for the game.
also the lack of being able to manually save is also a big disappointment.
if it was not part of the season pass there is no way i would have spent money on it, i would not suggest this dlc to my worse enemy.
i do not think they should have changed the camera or the saving from the way it was in the original game or the last 2 dlc. if they wanted the camera like this crap they should have put it in the game as an option, not a mandatory camera as it is ruining the game for allot of people that do not like the top down view.
