Simple answer is that you cannot request Microsoft for a refund when using PC, but you can with consoles. Besides that there are many PCs that don't have Windows as main OS.Originally Posted by THE_Crazy_Hyena Go to original post
Posted kind of a comparative string not many weeks prior addressing what amount of time it would require to get some respectable answers for a great deal of issues. Right now I can't discover it any longer, so it most likely was erased from the gathering. Your remark about reassures bodes well since Microsoft/Sony can and will apply much more tension on UbiSoft to fix issues at that point use PC clients at any point can.
I would track down that somewhat bizarre, taking into account that most PC's run Windows, which is a Microsoft item all things considered. In any case, the game isn't in Microsoft's own store on PC, so perhaps that is the reason they will not try compelling Ubisoft to fix the PC rendition.
This is the simple answer to why consoles are more stable. All the pressure in the world from Microsoft is not going to make it any easier to handle the crazy mess of hardware and software that are all the various Windows PCs that gamers own. Games on PCs are basically the nightmare software development scenario, when it comes to reliability.Originally Posted by Licher.Rus Go to original post
I can play Division 1 all day....no crashes.
I can play Breakpoint all day...no crashes.
Division 2 crashes on average 3-6 times a play day.
I have a friend who plays on Xbox....he crashes 2-5 times a day he states....makes him turn it off its so frustrating at times he said.
He also can play all other UBI titles with no crashes...all day long.
It's this game and this game alone with the Issues......And it's NOT limited to PC's.
Sadly due my HD dieing had to a full install of windows into a new one while most of my games were backed up elsewhere, i can say that the default state the windows is in is not what was causing the crashes. I was having crashes before but didn't have any after the fresh install of windows so i think it's something else this time
Many pre-built systems are identical in specs. Any large-quantity manufacturer has a set list of specs for their various models.Originally Posted by Licher.Rus Go to original post
However, while the custom desktop PC builds can vary quite a bit from one another, they still share most of the underlying technical features (if they are built within the same generation).
As tcarlisle2012 mentioned, problems related to C2D issues can just as well be bad hardware.
A friend of mine had major issues with framerate drops, which I managed to boil down the issue being the motherboard itself causing instability. After swapping motherboards, the PC ran like a dream, and most of the framerate issues were gone. The game still does the occasional drop in framerate, but it lasts just a fraction of the time it did before the swap. I have the same issue where the game occasionally drop framerate for a second or so, before running like normal. It has been present since the latest update.
The thing is that both of us run identical AMD processors, those being the Ryzen 9 3900X. So either the game engine won't utilize the multi-chip processors to their full potential, or there must be some underlying issues in the game's code, causing these random spikes of framerate drops.
