I run a lot of hardcore. I lost a World Tier Hardcore to these strings of CTD's. Look Ubi... Please fix this stuff. About ready to try different vendors... Yes they may have issues too, but at least I won't be as cynical as I am right now with Ubisoft.
Here is the link. As you can see from watching, I am not doing anything crazy, nor is there a lot of action going on at the time of the CTD.

Curiously, despite having massive strings of crashes and freezes in the previous months, I haven't had a single problem since last week. I changed NOTHING about my install or windows. The only thing I can think that might have made a difference was nvidia releasing a new set of drivers.
I don't know if that will help you or not. Either way it's still something Massive/Ubi should have fixed months ago.
Apart from the days after the infamous Connect update I haven't had a lot of crashes. What does happen a lot is that the game slows down, you can't run, skill malfunction all the time, NPCs teleporting left-and-right, etc. Yesterday and days/weeks before I played the game without any major issues. Today even opening the map takes forever, neither skills won't deploy. Then after closing down the game and restart it 5 minutes later all problems gone again. Now they can tell me a lot of things and I might believe them but not that my system is constantly updating and installing new stuff, because that simply isn't the case. So more likely most of these issues are caused by bad connections and/or server processing power to handle all requests and keep user sessions alive.Originally Posted by Sircowdog1 Go to original post
But on topic of Hardcore, just don't play it whenever you're not confident your game is stable. Whenever I see the loading icon come up several times during a single minute I am out again. Chances of getting disconnected are very high, or even total freeze and crash.
At this point "Massive" is synonymous with "shoddy or poor quality work".Originally Posted by Talks1cShock Go to original post
