Read on to learn more about the Jarl of Ravensthorpe:
Rarity: Epic
Class: Enforcer
Role: AOE
Weapon Type: Large Sword (two-handed)

Hero Bio:
Sigurd Styrbjornsson was born 842 as the son of King Styrbjorn of Fornburg. During Kjotve's assault on his home he fought to protect both Eivor and the village, and attempted to get a young Eivor to safety. After the attack, Sigurd's father adopted Eivor, making Sigurd their older brother. Years later Sigurd went on to marry Randvi, though the two would hardly see each other due to Sigurd's thirst for adventure and combat. He would often leave for many months at a time to lead raids and secure resources for the Raven Clan. As a result, Sigurd became a well traveled warrior with many a tale to tell. Sigurd Styrbjornsson was both an older brother and mentor to Eivor. After the founding of Ravensthorpe he became the Jarl of the village and continued to lead his friends and family in Southern England.

Hello Dear Ubi-Bunny
It's nice that the new Hero Sigurd is the Epic rarity
Sigurd's role as AOE seems like a new rival to Alvaro, one of the strongest AOE roles in Epic.
The new Skill "Raider Strikes" looks really great, and it is a perfect skill to attack all enemies twice
Those who will train Sigurd's statistics points such as Attack, Critical Chance and Critical Bonus with ET training, and strengthening Sigurd with support abilities in a team such as Gershon + Maria Thorpe will allow us to get very large damage points, A complete visual feast
I look forward to getting Sigurd as soon as possible and trying out all his abilities.![]()
How much work does it make to develop a new weapon in this game? Maybe it needs some special artifices we don't know in detail, but in general we can expect it works like this:
1. Take a weapon which is already available
2. Make some visual changes, choose a different colour for some parts, increase the shine of the metallic parts and so on
3. Take some modifications on the data, values, bonus skills, forging costs ...
What I want to aim at is that creating a new hero should take certainly much longer. So how can it happen that new heroes are introduced almost every month, while there are still not at least 30 regular 5* weapons (1 for each combination, not regarding heroes who have personal weapons) and 19 5* armours available?
Not to mention that 5* items are only one example for there is an enormous imbalance of development in this game.
well I did not expect him to be epic and I though he will be DPS when Payvor is Tank and Feivor AOE but lets see how he will fight for his place among AOE and if he has chance to be in top 3 (now in top 3 are Feivor, Rodrigo and Bea)
Maiming Sweep - bleeding
Outnumbered - more DMG against multiple enemies. But there is something interesting - he will use medium armor so he will use Tercio Cote and that gear give this skill to heroes that does not have it. So at 5* and with this gear he will have +40% dmg?
Retaliate - 1x less dmg recieved and 4x dmg back to enemy - not the best parry skill but better than nothing
Unbreakable - more def in fight with multiple enemies - well he will have increased both - dmg and def - not good for our foes
Master-at-arms - more XP from training - nice in combination with Training Hour
Raider - up to 200% to 2 enemies at once? Sounds good
Interesting, I mean the thing that he is Epic level, not Legendary. It is a good thing, given the considerable number of Legendary Heroes in the game.
The new skill seems at least as good as Eivor's, if not better (the overall critical damage will be calculated differently). It could have a longer cooldown though, you want this Hero to be Epic level yet he has a skill set that could easily put him in the Legendary group.
