I found that Mike's suggestion of the heli with missiles works incredibly well. I'm missing that approach with also replaying some missions, like "La Cabra" (basically all the missions for Inca Camina, actually); lots of points and they are easy. I also hit "The Advisor" in Espirito Santo, which can be done with a quick heli infil and 1 sniper shot.

But I tried circling Laguna with a heli and missiles for Unidad vehicles, and that racks up points fast. There is 1 SAM to take out though in that area at a Unidad base to keep it from continuously annoying you....but after that...KA-BOOM baby.

KB/M makes helicopter gun fighting minorly annoying.. but I might might make that mission a daily for myself, if it really is just a Snipe & Done..

It used to be you could shoot down choppers and get points for the guys inside. But that was too easy so they nerfed that. I never did finish to Tier 1. The reward was what a weapon skin? The best thing you get is the HTI at lower levels, so I never went past that.

I did try again with a new character to get the prestige credits, but it didn't give them to me so I gave up again.

I still haven't got the gold exosuit in Ghost mode, but I do on occasion go and spend a little time cruising around in my military chopper now and again to get some tier points.

Got my Red Shemagh, and promptly turned it off. Checking the Bad News stats, I'm going to keep preferring the MK18, so I saw no point to keep going - and the whole idea of "leveling up" items in Ghost Recon makes me want to vomit.

Plus, I'm just playing this for relaxing fun, and Extreme requires a modicum of sweat that I just don't feel like applying regularly.
