That's not fair though. I deserve a refund at least if that's the case, but they've denied me that also.
Why do you keep locking these threads? People should know how you treat your customers.
Ahh it's nice to hear toxic players actually get banned sometimes.Originally Posted by SuperiorJeans- Go to original post
Too funny.
I don't know. They won't even give me information about the violation that was committed.Originally Posted by WolfenTank Go to original post
When you buy a game you are not buying the game itself. You are buying the ability to play that game and use that product. Thats why there are ToS to follow. Rules that Ubi has set that you must follow to use their product. If you violate those rules then they have the right to take away your access to their product. You accepted the ToS just like everyone else when you played and loaded the game for the first time. This is not a Ubi thing this is how all gaming works across all companies.
This being the case then ubi doesnt owe you anything. A refund or what have you. Dont violate the rules that everyone who uses the game follows and it wouldnt happen. Also just being "toxic" in a normal sense isnt enough to be banned. You must have said or done something that was explicitly that violated the rules and went to far if they opened it up and then upheld the ban. Oh well, learn for next time.
Oh yeah no doubt. Everyone rages at For Honor here and there. It's like Dark Souls that way.Originally Posted by WolfenTank Go to original post
That's semantics, really. I paid for *something* and that *something* has been taken away. That's unacceptable to me. I simply paid - as anyone else did - to consume entertainment. There is no justification for denying that consumption under any circumstance.Originally Posted by Saint_YeetsXB Go to original post
There's also a more direct solution: Suspension of in-game chat privileges. It's something they have the capacity to do. They could also just disable matchmaking so I can at least enjoy the single-player content, but they refuse to do that also.
Worst yet is the lack of transparency around this. I have no idea where the line is that I crossed exactly. There's no details they're willing to share. They claim that it's to protect the integrity of their internal systems, whatever that means.
