    Hows this game now?

I thinking about giving this game another go. I tried this game last year and the movement of your character seemed so off it ruined the game play. Only got up to the part when you find the first base in the cave and I gave up after that.
I was just wondering if after some of these patches that the controls/movement have improved.

This thread and your response should be made a "sticky" and closed down right after.
Convincing the Ubi-crew might prove challenging though.

The animations are basically the same. Install it and try it out.

I would recommend you to try it out for yourself. Lately I've been playing it more often even though it still has much improvements needed that'll most likely never be delivered. How much of that is due to Breakpoint improvements compared to other games making changes I don't care for and going back to Breakpoint I couldn't really say. That said, last night it did bug out to the point that it shut down my xbox and seeing how I've heard such occurrences can actually break a console it has made me that much more hesitant to start it back up.

There's the little extra step you're so fond of and somehow forgot about right now...

    Oh, have I asked a question I shouldn't have?

Oh Ok, I gather it's a well known problem but Ubisoft don't want to address it?

I would but I traded it in not long after buying it so I only lost a couple of quid on it. Only reason I'm thinking of playing it again is because it's quite cheap now to buy.

I think they still have a friend pass going so if any of your friends have the game you could try joining in with them. At least that is what I recall on xbox.

If it's as cheap as a pizza from Dominos, go for it if there is nothing better on sale.

In all seriousness though, if it weren't for the fact that owning the game helps with keeping up with the forum, I would've regretted ever buying into this mess in the first place.
There's no price too low to willingly inflict this much frustration upon yourself.
