    Centurion Heavys Kinda Fast

Ok I just got done playing a match with Cent. I would like to say that he is amazing hero who has this nonstop pressure to a opponent which I love. But when I played him I realize is his heavy attack to fast after a light? Like I love him in all but his heavy chained attacks are kinda fast to be called a heavy attacks. His heavy is almost fast like a Orochi light attack. So I wonder! Should it be slowed down, damage decrease, or left as it is?

I'm not complaining just curious about his strange moveset.

Centurion, it's fine as it is.

If you are interested I leave links to the Centurion spreadsheets:

Centurion unchanged heavy is 600ms, but also low damage. You have to charge it to make it feintable/softfeinable and to have higher damage, but it also makes it slower. It is basically the only reliable way for him to enter the jab mixup, which makes him a weaker 1v1 hero than Warden and Warmonger. New Hitokiri is definetely stronger too. Also, no way to punish bashes. Still high tier, but nothing broken.

4v4 is a different story, he is a very good ganker, but that has nothing to do with heavy attack speed.

I'm talking about his chained heavy after his light attack.

Bro I just tried this out in training and Cent heavys are fast. If you are talking about the charge heavys then I understand. But his heavy finisher or heavy after a starting light or heavy is fast.

600ms is fast for a heavy. It is definetely not faster though, I am sure it is 600ms, it always was 600ms, and I never heard it was changed.

By comparsion, same speed as Zhanhu light finisher.

His rework nerfed his damage a bit and his punishes by a lot. They also slowed his opening heavy but sped up his charged heavies Iirc.

There is no reason to further nerf his damage or his speed. His chain heavy might be the fastest in the game but it has a terrible trajectory making it very easy to dodge mid team fights. Or even just out of a chain if he opens with a light. Also his charged heavies cannot be target swapped either.

Centurion does bolster some oppressive offense especially if he starts bullying your stamina. But he also has a significant weakness. He cannot punish bashes. And even if we ignore that his charge bash (assuming hito TG goes through,) is the worst charge bash in the game because the move stops tracking halfway through the charge.

Centurion is the last person that should be nerfed at this point and if anything needs another pass over to be buffed into a complete hero.

Considering their wording they could be (unknowingly,) be talking about link chain time. Usually chain attacks have 200ms of link in time. Chaining to a light finisher is usually 300ms.

The only exceptions I'm aware of are aramusha linking into heavies being 100ms, orochi linking from anything into heavies being 100ms, zhanhu's finisher heavy link being 300ms. And LB's side heavy finisher link being 100ms.

I don't have a way to test Centurion's link in times but just from my play experience I don't think they're anything other than what is considered standard.

What I hate is that he is unpunishable in his lights with my PK using her dodge attack. Nothing works he can literally return to his guard in time, even if I read the light perfectly.
Well if the person has good reactions, he is in fact unpunishable in this way.

I learned to parry his top lights and right lights (from my POV) but is a pain in the *** cause many of them could be easily punished if not for that instant recovery. Everything else is fine.
