I've ran Tidal Basin 4x with 2-4k average random level players (I'm just at 400) and in all cases it's been wipe after wipe. Grant it, I'm running a glass canon endless seeker (s) build, but jeez

Not sure why you need multiple threads on the same subject, but the GE is fine. It forces players to think about target prioritization rather than just shooting at whatever is closest to them. The RPM buff is hilarious, especially on something like the Bullet King or Vector.

Pretty much whenever I see that the Global Event is active in group settings, I switch to Eclipse Protocol with Foam and Shock Traps. People always think of it as a "damage set", but it is great for CC.
Stationary NPC's are often a lot less of a threat than ones that can move. Things progress a lot smoother in this situation.
I swear it seems I am taking more damage in this event, but I think it is really that NPC time to kill has increased in some situations and they are often targeting me as a CC person. I could also be having server/client funtime issues. I have seen a lot of teleporting/skating NPC's and players lately.

I have had no problem except when joining some groups who don't seem to be ready for the battle usually because they are playing one dimensional and don't bring anything extra to the battle. Just throwing your grenades can make a difference - the battles that i just walk through there are grenades going off all sorts of skills running NPCs burning everywhere everyone seems to have an extra outlet and its a blood bath but guys only using their guns is a struggle.
This event is crap. No, it isn't a hard concept. It just isn't fun. There is way too much downside and way too little upside to this one. I can't even really feel the damage buff.
It is really problematic when playing with a shotgun, because of spread, if a BB hits the wrong color you are wiped back to 0. Its much more manageable with a weapon with no spread.
