Clash of Heroes: online services shutdown, help !

    Hello,

I know this is a forum for Heroes VII, but there's no section for Clash of Heroes so I tried to choose the most appropriate channel, please forgive me if it's a nuisance.

It was announced on the Ubisoft forums that the Clash of Heroes servers are going to be shut down on June, 1st. I am part of a discord community that has built around the game for several years and we are extremely saddened by this news.
We organize tournaments regularly, we play together every day, we bring together people from all over the world (France, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Norway, Germany, USA, Mexico, Australia, Russia, etc.) and from all ages and social backgrounds (students, parents, some high school students, workers, etc.), we stream the game on twitch from time to time, especially in tournaments. This community has helped us all the more during this really difficult period linked to Covid, we support each other, we have forged a real community around this game.

We understand that this game attracts fewer people, that sometimes you have to make choices about the resources allocated. However, would it be possible to help us find a solution so that we can continue to play online together? For example, would a peer to peer host system like in Heroes of Might and Magic III be possible?
Clash is not one of the steam games compatible with remote play, would it be possible to offer it so that we can play locally via remote play? (I know that this feature belonging to Steam / Valve, it is not fully your responsibility, and we will also ask them directly, but if it is you who ask, or who give the authorization, etc., that will probably has more effect.)

Either way, thank you for reading me, and I hope our cry for help will be heard.

    have a nice day

    Bump for support

I agree. This game has to keep multiplayer. There's no alternative for the current players to play together afterwards (being a sequel/a clone). The game is such a gem.

We need an alternative, to multiplayer completely dying. Some people are going to be devestated!

All I can do is agree

It has been a blast playing this game, and while playing against the computer certainly can be a fun way to kill time, it could never replace playing against and with other people. The jokes, strategies and general energy that is created by online play in clash of heroes is something that I value a lot, and thus would really like to keep existing.
