Game has been unplayable on Xbox series s for a few days

I can’t do anything that involves holding a button. I can’t use vendors, fast travel, open doors, open stash. I can drop a skill but not throw it. I can tap A to use cover but holding it to try to cover to cover does nothing. Been unplayable for a few days not on Xbox series s. Works fine on my Xbox one. Anybody else seeing this issue?

I have the Series X and I played yesterday with no problems. Played a few times during the week last week too and no issues.

I have an Xbox X. I often have problems opening chests from obtained keys. Try to disconnect the Xbox completely (remove the plug from the socket). Wait for 5-10 minutes and plug in the console. Maybe it will help.

Hi, I tried having this issue fixed on another post but the support staff stopped responding to me for a week now so I am hoping for some more luck here.

I have the Xbox Series X and I think what happened was that I fought the control point before the allies could get there and then the glitch seems to start affecting me. A lot of my buttons aren't reacting the way it should be on the gameplay, I can't loot, fast travel, open doors, interact with other characters, use/switch weapons correctly, etc...

I tried switching it off completely for a few minutes and start it up and it didn't help, so I tried again for about half an hour and it still didn't change anything. I tried logging out, switch the difficulty level to reset, use different controller, nothing worked.

If anyone here has any other methods I can try I will be most appreciated.

Maybe they read all the support tickets that are from PC players saying "the game is unstable on PC, but console players have no issues".... and it was easier to "fix" that by making consoles also very unstable? LOL.

I have seen several posts about this issues and everyone seems to be able to fix it by turning off their xbox but mine didn't work and it is totally unplayable, which is a big disappointment. Idk if there's any way that Ubisoft can maybe try to look into my account or if there's a way for me to contact someone to get this issue look at

Try the installation again. It helped me with some mistakes.

If anytime i get a problem with my Xbox Series X (Very Very Rare) i:

    First check both of these:

    https://support.xbox.com/en-GB/xbox-live-status
    https://downdetector.co.uk/status/xbox-live/

If they are fine then i do the following:

    • Clear all saved game data (this will restart your xbox)
    • Go to Blu-Ray and clear the persistent storage
    • Hold down the power button for about 5-6 seconds until it turns off (clears the cache)
    • Unplug the power cable
    • Unplug my router for about 1 minute

    Then:

    • Plug the router back in and wait for it to be back fully functional again

    Then:

    • Plug the Xbox power cable back in and power up

Just as a quick point, if you're playing it off an external hard drive storage, move it to console, it will work better in general.
