A question about organizing an amateur tournament

Good evening! I am part of a group of R6 players organizing a Rainbow six Siege tournament and among our options for the event, we are considering the possibility of doing it in an old version of Siege. We have seen some content creators doing this and as we are long time fans of the game we would like to know if it is allowed to relive this era of the game

All attendees have the game on their computers except one who has it on a console, from what I have researched on the forums it is not illegal to convert the game to an old version for your own use, and considering that we all bought the game, I would also like to know if there is any problem in holding the event.

It will be ONLY this tournament, after the event, it will not be held again.

    Thank you for your understanding

    Hey there.

As this is the player support section of the forum I've moved this over to general discussions. Thanks.
