Happy Monday, Phone Destroyers! I’m Toller, and if you’re looking for today’s Dev Update, welcome! You’re in the right place.
Here is the Weekly Timetable
WEEKLY EVENTS
We’ll begin things this week with a Token Collection Event themed around Doctor Timothy! This event has started today and will run for two days.
Wednesday will switch things up to our usual Chaotic fun with a Chaos mode themed around our Spellbinding Spells! All spells will cost 1 energy point. Thinking of using Youth Pastor Craig as your defense? Think again! He will cost you 10 energy points to play, so you may want to change up your strategy. Thursday will also feature a one-day Mission event along with the Chaos Mode.
Last but not least, we come to the Weekend Event! This will be themed around Pete and it will be a Card Usage Event. The cards that will be up for play this time are as follows:
- Pete
- Mimsy
- Pigeon Gang
- Marcus
- Woodland Critters
- Mr. Hankey
- Satan
- Starvin' Marvin
- War Hero Ned
- City Wok Guy

Questions everybody wants to know from YOU, our fantastic community "lead", toller:
- when do we get new content, like new single playwr content (not new cards) for this game?
- what to do with copies, when a card is already lvld up to lvl7?
- when do we get a new tier for players above 9000? (there's actual no reason for playing this high, no better rewards, nothing)
- when do we get offers, that are FAIR-priced, for what we'll get from?
- what do you actually / want do against that shrinking playerbase?
- why was there a special cash offer this weekend, when there are no packs to buy with?
What an awful selection of cards for the weekends event who is choosing the cards for these events? this week just gone it was mainly about the awful CG + Pope combo last week it was all about Incan usually paired with DAR. It seems they want to put all the most complained about cards in the weekend events this month.
The special cash offers were weird. They were somewhat worthwhile when the 50% chance legendary packs used to cost 1000 Cartman Cash. But now that all the special packs cost real-world money, CC just isn't worth it. And the standard pack shop needs an overhaul if they really want people to spend CC in there. 3000 CC for 60% chance at a legendary? No thanks.
Funny, I made a post about this earlier but for some reason they decided it had to be deleted. What are they afraid of? The truth!Originally Posted by wingsdjy Go to original post
NERF NOTHING, BUFF EVERYTHING, UP THE DERANKERS, DOWN WITH UPRANKERS!
I hope you consider the following cards to be nerfed and buffed in the next Season:
Call Girl: Please nerf this card, should not be able to revive with Pope Timmy, also please slow down her atack speed.
Pope Timmy: Should not be able to revive characters with revive abilities, like Call Girl or DAR.
DAR: Should not be able to re-spawn characters with 5 cost energy
War Hero Ned: His stats are very low to be an epic card, he should have more attack and more health.
Commander Hats: His stats are very low, more atack and health needed.
Ike Scout: Was a good idea to increase his stats' cause was an useless card, but now its very OP, should be nerfed his atack and health, not like before the buff, just a little, because his current stats are comparable to an assasin legendary 4+
I only have him at 3 and run against him all the time at 4, so please don't misinterpret this as an effort to 'protect my interest' in the card, but I disagree about it being 'much needed' and would advocate for only a modest nerf, if any.Originally Posted by JChambe Go to original post
He is a strong card in SciFi (much like Mecha... Enforcer... Visitors (which is the card I can't remember the last time I didn't face as part of a SciFi deck), but he has a big weakness in his heath - his health at max 4 is less than Class - as an epic - at max 4 (though admittedly 4- vs 5-cost). Once he's played and his stun worn off, he's not that terribly difficult to deal with - just need to apply intelligent tactics to put him down fast before he turns into a buzzsaw, and there are plenty of options across the themes by which to do so.
Also, with regards to a card not getting a direct nerf, don't forget that they are indirectly nerfed whenever other cards are buffed as their value slides a little lower on the grand scale - and we're seeing a lot of common cards getting some attention, which might be indicative of RL seeking to alter and rejuvenate the current (and agreed, very stale) meta.
In the past I'd have argued that select limitations on revivals (to prevent chain revival) would be great, but that it probably wasn't a viable solution as they most likely couldn't easily code it. But since evidently they can, as they did with excluding Henrietta, that might be a (relatively) easy fix.Originally Posted by pahoranalanis Go to original post
