Just a A Simple Thank you for the Games Redemption

    GRBP Dev Team

When this game launched it was a mess so bad that it was a meme for a long time about being the worst game of the decade as indictive of the fact its appearing on numerous Top X worst games of the decade lists. Not only did it fail to deliver a proper sequel ( a game that builds upon its highly successful predecessor) but it was plagued with MTX and much more already detailed by numerous posts.

Here we are well into year 2 and I have to say, wow. You guys did something I did not think was possible. You stayed dedicated to the game (unlike other publishers who will go unnamed that have no problems with abandoning games with failed launches) and (presumably) worked late nights and long weekends to turn this around.

Congratulations on doing what just 18 months ago seemed impossible. The first DIVISION game had a mixed launched, it was highly successful in terms of sales but quickly fell apart when its players reached end game to find no real end game. They too dug in and were determined to fix the problem. They put DLC releases on hold so they could dedicate themselves to fixing the game and damned if they didn't turn it around. Its not a prefect game but comparing the state of the game as of its last update to when it released one can only call it a redemption story and I feel like Ubisoft Paris (and any studios assisting you) are doing the same for Ghost Recon Breakpoint so thank you and well done! There are still things in the game that need addressing but at this point I can say that this is a game I would recommend to friends and not hesitate to pay full retail price for.

Well done! You deserve praise for what you've accomplished and for what is yet to come.

The hard work doesn't go unnoticed, but this all could have been avoided had this Ghost Recon title been done right in the first place. Ubisoft took a huge risk and its good to see they learned from it. But they have got to hit the next Ghost Recon out of the park from the writers to voice acting, to cut scene transitions and character animations, to understanding that immersiveness and AI Teammates are the foundation to this IP, and taking the time needed to avoid releasing a buggy and unfinished game.

Those of us in these forums are here to help, and they need to listen to the dedicated fans they invite for early access testing.

The Dev teams' efforts are certainly recognized, but I can't offer a thank you for it. If anything, I give a big thank you to those in the forums who made their voices heard and guided Ubisoft to right this ship. Ubisoft can get a thank you for hearing us out.

My opinion and that's all this is, I missed the launch and really the first year of this because of finances but I had heard it wasn't great. Because of that, I put this on hold even longer because I didn't want to spend what little money I had (Covid lockdown really screwed us here) to buy a game that wasn't rated high so I was skeptical. I loved playing Wildlands though and have a lot of hours put into it so I bought the base game to Breakpoint and because it was good, I got the rest while it was on sale. I guess I missed it not being launched with an AI team, which I really don't understand how that was the case since that was a big part of the solo play in Wildlands. Since then though, this has become one of my favorite games. The poster above mentioned that Ubisoft needs to have the next GR game hit out of the park and I will agree. I love these last two GR games but when people are broke and only get one or two new games a year because of whatever budgetary reasons they may have, the reviews need to be good or we're not getting it. I'm looking forward to the next version of this and will be playing this until then but I'm really hoping they pay attention to that for the next one.

Came here to post the same thing, glad someone already beat me too it!
Great work guys/gals! Glad too see you didn't bail on the game, took all the player feedback and made it what it is today... which is a VAST imporovent since its launch.

Cudos! You deserve a big pat on the back or a raise! Bet you'd prefer the $.
    Well done.
