Price TRIPLES for DLC's. What is going on? | Forums

Hello,

I wanted to buy the Season Pass for the expansions and HERE I can clearly see that it's 53.70 TRY. But when I try to buy it, Price rockets up to 179.00 TRY



Same thing goes for other DLC packs aswell.

Here you can see it's listed as 20.40 TRY for Narco Road DLC, but in purchase screen price is more than triple the amount, 67.99 TRY



What the heck is going on here? There is something seriously wrong with this. Smells almost like a scam.??

Did you purchase your game from the Ubisoft Store or Steam or Epic?

You may need to contact support and see what they say but becareful.

And Narco Road, if you are a fan of Wildlands might not be what you are expecting, I would check videos on youtube first.

Originally purchased from Epic Store, but Epic store doesn't "download" ubisoft games. They just download an installer which basically useless because uplay want to download the game again on it's own terms. So I linked my epicstore account with Uplay account and downloaded straight from uplay.

But I don't see how it's relevant. Maybe an ubisoft employee can shed light to this mismatch

Which you won't find here. You're better off asking at https://support.ubisoft.com/ as there you may get an answer within 24 hours, while if you wait for someone to answer you here on the forums, it'll be much much much much much much longer to never.

Well, things may have changed recently but it is a well known fact that if you purchase a game from Steam or Epic and then a DLC from ubi store you won't be able to play it so to me that was very relevant but go ahead and do what you want to do.

Next time, don't shoot the messenger or those trying to help. If you need more info then just ask and we will try to provide it because if you are waiting for someone from Ubi to help you will die of boredom

Thanks for the replies, I wasn't shooting any messengers, sorry if I offended you. I just tried to understand and couldn't see the logic. I don't have a problem with playing the DLC. Asking on forums had been helpful for me before because some user that had experienced the same problem and managed to get a resolution will actually help pinpoint my argument. And Ubisoft employees on these forums tend to reply to topics related to "purchasing" quite quickly (knowing from experience) But sure, I will ask about the triple price change with an e-mail to support.

On actively developed games yes, but Wildlands is not actively developed anymore. So all that the mods do here is remove the spammers. And even that can take quite a while.

Oh don't worry about me, I don't get offended on the internet... I just get even!

As I said before, we had issues with people buying the game from Steam and then purchasing the DLC directly from the Ubi story (ie: Ubi was running a Sale and Steam wasn't) but they were not able to play the DLC unless they first buy the original game from the Ubi store as well. Same thing was happening with Epic Games.

You may want to try opening a ticket for support and just for ****s and giggles ask them if you will have a problem buying the DLC from their store if you purchase the game from someone else.
