Okay...just bought the Rainbox Six pack, which is available in the Limited Time offers today...so I could get the 416 (not the same as the P416). I put a short barrel on it...and LOVE it. I might have a new fav. That thing has virtually NO recoil, and is just as quiet as the M4, while being a little bit more compact.

Indeed, the (HK) 416 is very nice in this game; especially when you role-play with one primary (i.e., a shorty in the secondary slot).

I have to agree with you there and that is another pet peeve of mine when it comes to gunsmith for the M4A1

wait, there's a quiet mode? I think it might be but that hasn't really been an issue

    Any feelings on the MK18?

Recently picked up the Bren, which I've been enjoying - but now that I started Tier Mode, I just want to find a few weapons to focus on boosting. I'm intrigued by the 416..

As for quiet mode, I'm starting to move toward only having my handgun silenced. The 5.7 can land shots at 100-150m.

With my Tier 1 save slot, the MK18 is my choice if the primary weapon is to be an AR, specially if out and about. stirring things up. It's due to the greatly increased damage, because of how the Tier system was designed.

I'm normally against paying $10 for an item, but I got the game for free [for pre-ordering TD2], and the DLC only cost me $9..

    Hmm..

I agree also - $10 is a lot to pay for one item. To be frank (I didn't pay full price for this game or DLC BTW) it most likely depends on how long you plan on playing the game.

If I didn't have the MK18 (gotten via purchase credits due to the duplication rate of the prestige crates) I would run with the (HK) 416 or M4A1 or Mk17 or 556xi at Tier 1.

I've only cleared three provinces, so I figure I've got 50+ hours ahead of me. I feel like I kind of owe them, seeing as I'll end up with 100+ hours in the end, and I normally just aim to get >$1/hr from my video games.

It just leads me to wondering if I could better spend $10-20 on this game.. I really wish they had a better store that offered everything, instead of me having to hope the daily has a set I want something from. They'd already have my cash if all items were available for a set price each. Loot crates are cancer.

I don't have the 416 either - otherwise I'd just roll with that.. tempted to just wait for the Predator Tar-21 to show up as the daily

yeah the store is a pain. I am sitting here with cash in my hand and I have to keep looking and checking the limited window offers. Who the fk runs a business like that?
