Well they only stopped adding stuff for Wildlands, because Breakpoint was releasing. The last major update for Wildlands was only two and a half months before GRB launched. And we have no idea what their plans are for this game, OR the franchise, other than this next update is supposedly the largest update ever, and that they've been working on it for around a year.

Ooooh. What is this update? Sorry I haven't been around and following for some time. I thought the Ghost Experience update was a big update for this game so if the next is bigger than that, then I'm very intrigued.

There is an update scheduled for this Fall, that contains something called Op Motherland with Karen Bowman. And it's supposed to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Franchise. So since the last bit of actual story content was released in January, even if they waited until after Amber Sky, they will have been working on this content for 8-10 months, depending on when it finally releases.
