By the end of my play session last night, I realized I miss my DMRs from Auroa. Snipers seem louder, so instead of modifying a G28 or SR25, I was thinking about messing with a Semi-AR. Bonus, I can potentially roll with a GL.

So, anyone have recommendations on the best AR for Range/Accuracy? Looking through the guns, first thought is the MK17 or MDR. Maybe the Aug? Other? Has anyone put them all through their paces, with a victor emerging?

My idea is to put together an "infiltrator" loadout. AR built for 2-300m shots + GL for vehicles, SMG [probably MP7] & Handgun [5.7] once I'm in the location.

Given I do not seriously (for giggles, sure) engage at long distances (by Wildlands standard) I recall a YT guy (Darkdally) doing a whole series of weapon tests that might help answer what you're asking.

Sounds like the Aug is in the driver's seat, and I need to add the MK18 to my short list. I'll have to do some hands on with each to see what feels the best.
