Hey guys,
since the release of the demo this accessibility feature on Series X has been bugged.
When I plug in my mouse and keyboard, only the device, that has been plugged in first, works.I bought this game recently on my retail shop and it is the same issue there. Even though on the back of the box support for those input devices is being advertised.
The demo on PS4 worked without any issues. The PC demo as well.
Are there any plans or an ETA date when this is gonna be fixed?
My devices can't be the problem. On CoD and other games, that support MnK on XBox, they work perfectly. I also had my friend tested this, since he is using other hardware. He suffers the same issues there.
One side note, if you wanna use synergy effects on the investigation: AC: Valhalla shares the same issue. Only one device can be used at the same time. Coulda be engine related, since both games use the "same" technology.
Thanks in advance and best regards.
Hello UbiExcellent, thanks for your responseOriginally Posted by UbiExcellent Go to original post![]()
YES, when I plug in my mouse first, I can use my mouse only. Same goes for my keyboard. When I connect both simultaneously, it seems like the device, that's being detected first, will work. Pretty weird and an unique "experience" to me on XBox, since other games, which support those input types on XBox Series X, work flawlessly.
And like I said, this has been around since the demo. And since I tested the demo on PC and PS4 as well, this bug is present only on XBox, in the full and demo version of the game.
Hope you can fix this, also on Assasins Creed Valhalla as well, since the bug is present there as well on XBox. Unfortunately I can't tell about the PS4 version of Valhalla, since I do not own it
Regards.
Hello Ubi-Mark, sorry for the late response, I was kinda busy the last few days and completely lost track of the bug.Originally Posted by Ubi-Mark. Go to original post
I'm using the Logitech G502 + G213. Also tested it with a Sharkoon SGK5 Keyboard.
And like I said, in other games on XBox Series X, that support native mouse and keyboard input, I do not experience this phenomenom.
A friend of mine, who experiences the same bug in Fenyx Rising and is using a Razer configuration of mouse and keyboard, also has this issues in AC: Valhalla. Maybe it is an engine related bug, since both games run on the same.
Already tested the different combinations of following tweaks:
- different mouse and keyboard devices
- direct input to the console's USB ports (since I am using an USB hub)
- different USB hub
- different USB port of the XBox
- starting the game with both devices connected
- connecting the devices after the game hits the options menu
- selecting mouse and keyboard manually in both of the control option fields of the game
Nothing helped, the result is always the same: ONLY ONE device works in the game(s) simultaneously, even though mouse and keyboard were recognized as input type in the game options.
Thanks again and best regards.
Thank you very much. Wishing you all a great weekendOriginally Posted by UbiKoreanBBQ Go to original post

Hi P3dro-3L-Ghosto!
At this time there is no update on this.
As a workaround while we investigate this issue, please try the following :
- Go to the console's settings > controls > Input mode and select Keyboard and Mouse
- Restart the game
Can you let us know if you're still unable to use both keyboard and mouse aafter this.
