UPCOMING BALANCE CHANGES
We did go over these last week, but it never hurts to post them up again now for those who might not have seen that update. This changes will all be going live tomorrow!
Classi- We’ve added Stun to her Enrage, which will have a radius of 1.5 and a length of 2 seconds. We’ve also increased her health by 25% (400 -> 500)!
Gizmo Ike- His movement speed will be increased by 43% (0,7 -> 1) and he will spawn in Clones in the north. The Gizmo Ike Clones will also be changed, will a Health increase of 32% (59 -> 78) and a Movement Speed increase by 43% (0,7 -> 1). They will spawn clones to the south.
Scout Ike- This little guy is getting a buff AND a rework! His health will be increased by 56% (48 -> 75), his Attack will increase by 47% (51 -> 75), and his Attack Range will increase by 56% (0,45 -> 0,7). We’ve removed his power to generate energy. Instead, he will collect energy by attacking his enemies! Each attack will generate 0.3 Energy.
Nymph Nichole will also be added into common circulation. As long as you’ve reached Arena 4, you’ll be able to find her in all packs and lockers starting tomorrow!
What do you think of these changes? Please let us know! As always, we’ll be keeping an eye to see if any of these need adjusting, so let us know what you think once you're able to try these changes out. I've also let the team know about the feedback from our last post about other cards to balance, to thank you to everyone who reached out!
That’s all for this update! I hope you all had a lovely weekend, and if you have any issues collecting your End of Season packs tomorrow, please reach out to me with your in-game name and I can have a look for you!
Good luck on the battlefield!
Hearts and Hugs,
-Toller!
We need revival warcry nerf, not this. Every time Dark angel red or Pope timmy brings back Incan craig, it deals a devastating attack. Is it too hard to ask for, that revived units can't do their warcry ability? It is already enough to get a fully healed unit, but with a free warcry on top of that is too much. Please do something about it now. (i only metioned incan, because he is the most common card that players bring back to life, but there are other cards, that have warcry abilities)
My alt account is a a NK21 at 7k I’m consistently facing opponents with card levels that I typical face on my main which is a NK25 at and above 8.5k. During events this problem is far worse. Is there anything being done to address the deranking problem? It’s frustrating trying to play the game when 3-4 matches in a row are against derakers. Reporting them does nothing, and I can’t shame them on here. I think one solution is keeping the matching making to +/- 1 level instead of +/- 3 levels. Buffing rewards is another way to keep players at the levels where they belong. We all know that there will be players that will circumvent this but those would the except and not the rule.
The value of many cards is mostly lost if you remove the warcry. If I were to advocate to a change to revival mechanics, it would be to prevent chain-revivals (particularly Pope->Call Girl->[insert SH card] as that, for a cost of 6 energy, can generate 17 energy of value, but it's a slippery slope to start picking and choosing like that - better to simply 'git gud' (and the moment you see your opponent is playing Mystical/Superhero, be ready to snipe that Pope).Originally Posted by VFeri99 Go to original post
If you are facing players at 8.5 k how are they deranking? Your in the right spot and so are they buddy!
Obviously the game is dying and they're aren't anymore players left but the hard-core upper tiers. And it will only get worse so buy some packs! I am in a top 100 team at level 25, 8k and I got 57 purify and 2 sets of dougie no legendary in my first place team pack with some members going on 7 weeks with no legendary so who has a more legitimate gripe? And the other player complaining about DAR and incan. Those cards have been almost nerfed into oblivion. Enough is enough in the crying for nerfs. It NEVER ends with you guys until you get what you want. If you look at the meta, that's what it is in the competitive teams so we don't really need another nerf to change the entire meta AGAIN. We dont need to bleed off anymore players tired of investing time and energy in the game to have all their cards nerfed every month. It takes long enough to find a match as it is. If the devs don't stop caving to the crying, a year from now we'll all be playing candy crush.
Deranking is just a thing you have to learn to deal with. Events will always be worse (or better) and certainly more lopsided depending on the degree to which you can capitalize on boosted cards, as relative strength of one's deck options to the general population can swing pretty strongly away from others at your ELO.Originally Posted by bon0me Go to original post
+/- 1 level doesn't provide enough range to cover the skill gap. If you wanted to implement a different means of matchmaking, one way might be to devise a means of 'deck level' value based on summing assigned values of each card and their levelower ratio - but that would be just as subject to abuse, not to mention likely exceedingly difficult to code, much less in an accurate manner, and would make it excessively difficult for the most developed accounts to find matches.
I have brought those cards to the teams attention, along with Sizzler Stuart. We'll be talking over them all in our next balance meeting.Originally Posted by pahoranalanis Go to original post
