    Difficulty

so whoever made this game thought the highest difficulty would be getting 1 shotted all the time and feeling weak as ****...... even more than when i was at level 1
with enemies sniping me with a pistol from 2 blocks away.
theres not enough armor in the game or damage to deal with that.
not to mention the awful dodge rolling that keeps sticking to walls
the enemies are not even bullet sponge .......they are just like bullet deflectors, u take 1 sec to shoot them and boom ur dead.
wat use is spending all this time in the game if ur equally as useless when u were at level 1 ......seriously.

the idea of making the game stupid hard just to keep players coming back is getting tiring real quick and its dumb.

It's a looter shooter. Someone who's only played for 40 hours is unlikely to be ready for legendary or heroic content.

I agree. Recently too many new players/SHD <100 are match making Legendary looking for a free carry for good loot. They need to stick to Heroic.

Heroic is too easy with directives now. It is the new normal mode. Heroic is now full of players not bothering to revive eachother as 1-2 players can breeze through each mission section.

I used to think Legendary was difficult until I was told to make a healer build completely stack with Repair attributes, BTSU, Hive Heals.

    - When team at full armor, pick up Hive for recharge backup and commuinication
    - Awareness of team movements to keep in heal area of effect or telling team mates they need to shuffle closer when they're zoned out firing.
    - Communication when Heal charges running low, so team is aware of downtime and play conservatively for few secs.

PvE is not DPS competitive and playing support has its own rewards and gratitude.

Sounds like you stepped into legendary without knowing what you were actually up against. What, did you expect the "Highest Difficulty" was going to be a cakewalk? Or maybe you've never actually been challenged by a game before?

Division 2 legendary requires practice, gearing, more practice, strategy, thinking, patience, and teamwork. It CAN be done solo, but not without a LOT of skill and a nearly flawless build.

Sounds like you didn't have any of that.

The Division 2 is not a power fantasy. It never will be a power fantasy. The Devs have stated such, many times.

    Power Fantasy = Hard
Here to have fun = Challenging
Brief Bursts of Sweaty = Heroic
    Punishing* = Legendary

Honestly, the loot isn't worth it on Legendary unless you enjoy it. Hell, even Heroic is of questionable value, with how quickly one can blitz through Challenging content [plus the Optimization Table nerf]. You can even get max rolls on Hard [just less frequently].

*Entirely doable if you know what you're doing, but if not, you gone have a bad time..

Eclipse Protocol is proper power fantasy imo. There may be something else, as I don't have all builds,, but yeah, it's not entirely power fantasy at the highest difficult. Running a max build in a lower difficulty setting is more of a simulation of power fantasy, but not the actual real thing.

I am glad it is difficult game in general and forces real team work.

Let all the toxic players stick to Warzone and Apex Legends who enjoy playing Rambo. Keeps them away from D2.

I don't play Legendary for the loot. I play it to find players who are non toxic and understand team work in a difficult scenarios.

Negotiator's Dilemma works in a similar fashion, just with shooting instead of skills. Tag a bunch of enemies, burn them all down at once with crits.
